It is my wish that UF has its 14 top 5 ranked class locked up a week before NSD with no UF recruits taking visits and all ships faxed in one hour after the ships can be received.

Some people may be wishing we get to NSD with 0 recruits and then that day secure about 25 of the best of the best, accounting for needs of course... :D

This is what I thought the OP would say. I'm all for wrapping it up earlier. I really love having a couple landslide junior days spread out during the most boring part of the offseason... or starting the 16th of this month...

Yep I loved getting six or eight commits after one junior day, and having a class that is already coming together and building relationships with one another. Makes for good team chemistry which I think we have been missing or some time.

I'm not at all in disagreement with you but it is nice to get 1-2 really high profile players on NSD to finish strong and get more exposure on that day. I think it's the best when it comes down to the last day and it's between us and let's say sow and the player chooses us and leaves them scrambling to add a different player. Just my opinion though.

My NSD wish is to get this kid Hands. Dude is a beast and a DE. Go get em Champ!

On ESPNU, the top 10 classes were featured throughout the 12 hours of coverage. Not one Gator was featured as a signing day spectacle. All recruits count the same and all recruits should be celebrated regardless of when they committed/signed.

Recruiting is year round and is all about relationships. NSD is highly overrated in that it emphasizes the attention seeking few. I don't like that at all.

I agree with ET that NSD is all about the attention seeking few. Also agree with Wolte about hoping to see Hand the DE in the 14 class. But if you watch some of the video footage of him in an interview with one of the sites (think it was bleacher,,,) he sure comes across like one of thoes "attention wanters". we shall see.

I love the fact that this 2013 class has been together for a long time. Let all the other programs get the hype on NSD and Florida will let ths WINS do the talking. OSU Forida for the Crystal anyone? I know I'm being quite optimistic but we do have a chance.

Like Muschamp said in his presser, its ideal to have kids sign early and then stick around in relative anonymity, helping recruit other players to the class. It says alot about such recruits who care more about being a part of something great than having the spotlight focused on them alone. Like Muschamp says, "its a lot more about the name on your helmet than the name on the back of your jersey."

Sony Michel from Plantation American heritage And Dalvin Cook from Miami Central would be good starters at rb! Chad Thomas from BTW and Da'Shawn Hand from Virginia!
