I would tend to agree. But since they aren't "monumental" I suspect they are probably not particularly high profile guys.

I'm just guessing, but maybe since we may have lost out on Clark and Ramsey, Muschamp uses a scholarship on an unconventional recruit like kicker/punter, FB or long snapper. Positions where we might usually rely on a walk-on.

Exactly. The class was pretty much completed for me when we got Robinson on campus. We desperately needed playmakers at receiver and he gave us the best of the lot to go along with really good numbers there. Not a class out there that I think is appreciably better.

Well Collins is still in play, but the outfit he was wearing when he committed to arky looked strangely like LSU garb, and exhibited exceedingly bad taste in haberdashery. Apparently Mom wants him to commit to dumpster fire...er, scUM.

Outside of him, I know of no other offensive players we were in on, unless we pick up Timmons.

At 6'6" 260# and without a good jump shot, he might not even have the ability to be a walk-on at Florida as a 4, or at any position for that matter.

I think it's better to save the ship for a big, fast TE with great hands in the 2014 class, than an undersized 3 star OT for 2013. We've already got three nice sized TEs on the roster, plus a fast, skinny one with nice hands.

I see some people were talking about Trevon Young in this thread I haven't seen him play but the staff had their eyes on him for a long time. Sometimes you want to keep things quiet so a kids recruitment doesn't blow up. There are some special big athletes that have only played football for a few years. If Denzel Bryant had the grades I think Florida would have signed him as well.

Trevon Young, come on down. Billy Ball needs you right now. We are short of physical forwards who can hold down the post area. I hope Billy gets in on this one. He always has a short rotation, but you need depth and a tough, filled out forward to get in and mix it up would be just what the doctored ordered. Oh yeah, playing football would get you stronger and improve your speed. Man you are still growing, Florida is the right place, this will get you to places you never dreamed.

Not many kids move like that with his size. The only problem is he has to buy into football and buy into S & C.

I suspect he has done just that.

My guess is that Muschamp told him he would need to make a choice whether to be a basketball player, where at the division II level, he probably doesn't really have much of a potential future after college, or focus all his efforts on on becoming a football player, where he probably has more potential. He might have even had Donovan talk to him about that.
