i'd love for GC to take the lead and buy up a block of tix for GC insiders and others [like me]. GC should consider doing that for such gator sporting events - like away football games, sec-t hoops tix, etc. may take a down payment from those of us that would love to sit in a block w/ other GC posters.

Tickets through UF go on sale in May. I wonder how we get in our allotment. Also, we should figure out when miami's single game tickets go on sale. I doubt those season tickets sell out.

The Swamp South. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Well, it's not really that nice to visit either, but I think we'll have some good memories.

We're planning on going; about 8 of us. Never been. Hope we can pull out a W. thanks for the link. Might be cheaper to buy season tix. Going to relay this link to the rest of the group.

For those of you actually considering going, a word of advice: beware. Those are some of the trashiest fans in the country. That's what you get when your season tickets are this cheap.

Gator Invasion time. I'm looking forward to this game like crazy. I already have Canes talking much yang to me and I'm hoping for a serious beat down by the good guys.

I absolutely love this game more than the FSU game.

after the berlin comeback, last time down there, there were some absolute punks that roamed the stands, i think, just wanting to bait gator fans into a fight. fortunately they didn't come to me directly. i probably would have taken the bait. i probably would have been beaten to a pulp, but it would have been worth it to rearrange the one mouthy punks face.

every fan base has their "10%" that you don't want to ever encounter. the 10% for UM are perhaps the worst in all of college football. and most of them are only out for the gator and nole games or when the team is winning.

have to learn to detach the ego around some of those mouthiest cane fans, recognize what they are trying to do. same mindset as on the field, having scrubs/punks go around to pick fights w/ the other team's star players.

The fans have more fight in them than the scUM football team does. Nevin should have been spending his ponzi-scheme money on the fans instead of the players -- he would have gotten a better return on investment.

It is like a biker fest but it is nice for us South Florida Gators to support the team live since it is so close.

It would be great to take the stadium over. I'll post single game ticket info as soon as it becomes available but they might not offer the UF game on it's own and will probably offer as a three game pack with two other crappy games.

Most any stadium's upper deck is like going to a WWF match

Some of the Gator Clubs in South Florida will have tickets through "group blocks" we've already reserved through UM's ticket office. Will post details once we have them.

That's simply not true. I've been to every SEC stadium except for UArk. Every game I've been to I've dressed in Orange and Blue. I've never had an inkling of a problem. I can't remember the last time I've seen a fight at an SEC stadium. They just don't happen very often.

I've also been to half a dozen FSU games. I've never had any problems there either. I've seen a couple fights, but even at FSU/UF fights are rare.

On the other hand, I went to the Berlin game at the Orange Bowl. I went with a group that included my 70+ year old mother. Everywhere we went, we had little punks (scUM fans that had never sniffed the inside of a college classroom) coming up trying to start fights. One even got into the face of my mother.

I must have seen more than a dozen fights that night. It's was completely ridiculous. I have never seen a sporting event that even came close to the mayhem at that game.

For the record, I also went to the UF/scUM game at the Sugar Bowl. That game wasn't nearly as bad. I think it's because real scUM fans (actual alumni) attended the Sugar Bowl.

It's the non-alumni, uneducated, gang-banging punks that attend the Orange Bowl/Joe Robbie that completely ruin the scUM games in Miami. You can see them in the videos posted above. SEC teams and FSU may have similar punks at their games, but they're very rare. At scUM games, they're everywhere.

I won't be going when UF plays down here. I'd much rather watch the game on my television than deal with all those morons.

No doubt it will be. Certainly there will be more excitement and energy in the crowd.

Sounds like the opportunity is here for Gators in South Florida to start buying up tickets from different sources for the game. It would be great to see the Dolphins Stadium in nearly all Orange and Blue for the game! :)

They'll probably keep them in place just to have some green in an amongst the see of blue.

Please note that in the 3rd video it appears it took about 12 u people (not fans) to attack one fan from OU. Real brave. Typical u machismo.
