Thanks for posting this.

I think we match up very well with IU. Zeller is about as solid as they come but I think Patric and WY would step up and do a nice job on him. Wilbekin on Oladipo and KB on Hulls would be fun to watch as well. I do think our press could give them some issues just in regard to the time it takes them to set up in their offense. They struggled against Wisconsin, who is pesky defensively always and Butler played the game of their lives, although IU hit some pretty lucky shots and Butler should have ended the game in regulation.

I like the matchup.

The team that scares me the most is Kansas.

Indiana is a lot like us in that they have very balanced scoring (5 guys in or near double digit scoring) and a good defense. But I think they're more reliant on running their offense through Zeller and Oladipo than we are in one guy. Our defensive plan would be simple (not easy, but simple), in trying to take away Zeller and Oladipo. It's hard for other teams to game plan for us when we have multiple guys than can go for 20.

Personally I think this is a bit premature, since Indiana must travel to Columbus to play OSU, to Minneapolis to play Minnesota, to East Lansing to play Michigan State, and finally, to Ann Arbor to play Michigan in the last Big 10 game for each team.

Meanwhile, the Gators must yet travel to Fayetteville to play Arky, to Columbia to play Missouri, to Knoxville to play Tennessee (always a terror for the Gators) and finally, to Lexington to play Ky on senior night in the last SEC game for each team.

Since both of these teams have multiple road games against some of the best teams in their conferences yet to play, this simply seems like a rather premature consideration.

Dino Gaudio discusses which team he would pick in a neutral-court contest, Florida or Indiana (http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8911031&categoryid=2378529).

Now I openly admit to not having seen either IU, Kansas, or Michigan so far this season, but I assume they must all be pretty damned good.

That said, Kansas is, to me, one of the teams I never really want to face. Over the years, what stands out about them is jaw-dropping athleticism.

Kansas is good, but not that scary.

IU is scary. They are very good.

Michigan is extremely scary on O, but not so much on D.

This should henceforth be called "one-and-done day" and not "Senior Night".

Incredible comments. I never realized it before, but I hate IU. They sound like Notre dame in football.

They do realize in NCAA champions....

2012-SEC
2007-SEC
2006- SEC
2000-Big Ten
1998- SEC
1996-SEC
1994-SEC

Man these guys and their entitlements are incredible.

Indiana has the absolute worst fans in college basketball. I know it sounds like the kind of strong statement thats made on a message board, but I honestly think this is true. While there are good ones, they're the worst collective group that I've ever encountered at least.

Its not like this is some inevitable conversation that we'll have to get to at some point. Obviously things could change. However, things can be discussed (and can be worth discussing) along the way that might not even necessarily become relevant. Its what message boards are for sometimes. This kind of hypothetical circumstance is fun to consider for some people.

Other than REM and Jeff, I always thought UK fans were the most delusional and felt like they had the most sense of entitlement...IU might have them beat....although I do like IU's coach much more than Calipari...at least UK won the title last year and has won 3 altogether since IU won their last one....in fact a lot has happened since 1987....the original Die Hard hadn't even been released in theaters yet...:)....I never understood how a team/fanbase can have a sense of entitlement when they haven't hoisted the trophy in 25+ years...

Isn't there a biblical quote about seeing the speak in someone else's eye and not see the log in your own?
