Super Bowl Halftime Show

It's always the halftime shows I don't expect anything from that blow the roof off. Beyonce and (surprise, at least to me) Destiny's Child reunion just tore the hell out of that place and it's not even really my jam.

Before this, it was Prince that surprised me by blowing up the halftime show, including singing "Purple Rain" in a monsoon that was made purple by his lights.

Sting with No Doubt was good and of course Kiss playing R&R All Night was good. They should get the Foo Fighters next year. They're sadly one of the few real rock bands out there.

One of the least inspiring halftime shows in a looooong time. Nothing for the ear or the eye ( outside of Beyonce's hips.)

This show was a snooze fest.
There was just way too much theatrics going on (too many dancers too big of a stage) and it detracted from the main performers.

Prince was one if the best half time shows ever. He really rocked and entertain the joint.

They could definitely do better than what they had tonight. She doesn't crossover to wide enough audience. She plays to mostly a certain demographic while boring a huge portion of the SB audience....at the stadium and tv.

Interesting. It was real popular with the 25 - 35 ladies demographic. That's pretty popular with me.

It was better then the black eyed peas.

Tom Petty is my favorite of the recent ones. That's just my not so humble opinion though.

my favorites were u2 after 9/11, prince, tom petty, bruce springsteen. would love to see pearl jam or green day, but green day couldn't do a song without an 'f' bomb. pearl jam would be great.
but beyonce, and the reunion of 'destiny's child', well, they rocked the crowd.
and it was much better than that horrid 'hodge podge' thing that year where they had aerosmith, brittney spears, nelly, etc....that was a horrible travesty!!!
