The main events today. . . Sen Bob Menendez is being investigated by the FBI for alledgely taking trips to the Dominican Republic flown by a medical doctor from south Florida who is under endictement for fraud and engaging in prostitution with underage girls. (This Story is being ignored by the mainstream media.)

Hagel appointment for Sec of State went badly, he was totally unprepared., unable to answer questions and address the inconsistencies in his testimony.

The bipartison economics council appointed 4 years ago by O'Bama was disbanded.The bipartisan panel met 4 times with recommendations that were totally ignored by Obama. The head of the council was Jeffrey Immelt who is the CEO of General Electric. GE has been funneling jobs overseas and at the same time receiving billions in government assistance. Conflict of interest!

Unemployment rate up to 7.9% from 7.8%, 140,000 Americans have left the work force in the last month, further making the problem worse.

Gas prices up.

Hagel's confirmation as Obama'a (puppet) Secretary of State to slice the military budget is in trouble when he is unable to answer questions re: his inconsistent policy positions taken over the years.

$3,288,000,000 was added to the national debt yesterday. T bill rates are heading up that means interest on the debt is up too. When the average US borrowing rate increases from 2% to 5.5% the US will be paying $880,000,000,000 annually instead of $320,000,000,000. (These numbers are based on today' debt of $16,500,000,000 instead of the $21,000,000,000 when Obama leaves office. What budget items will be cut (after eliminating the defense budget and scrapping all soldiers and all armaments.

There is a proposal in the California legislature to put retirement and health costs above the bondholders. Excuse the typos. I don't think I am completely ignorant. One other thing, the 2.3% excise tax on medical devices instituted by Obamacare have resulted in a number of medical device manufacturers cancelling US expansions and relocating overseas to avoid the tax. Among these are Abbott Labs, Stryker, Boston Scientific, Medtronics, Cook Medical, John & Johnson, GE Healthcare, Cardinal Health, CR Bard, Alcon, 3M Healthcare, Baxter Travanol, Hospira, and many many others.

If a company has $10,000,000,000 in sales and a 5% after tax margin their net profit is $500,000,000. After Obamacre and the implementation of the 2.3% excise tax their net after tax profit is $230,000,000. This tax is based on sales, not profits. No wonder these companies are moving overseas (Esp China) to escape the tax. The top two job loss states are Massachusetts and Florida.

Taking our 2nd amendment rights over an emotional argument that does not work but makes the leftists feel better is irrational and prevents law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves. I am sure if banned, the gangs would be lined up turning in their assault weapons. Well back to work!
