Marquez North committed to Tennessee in a bit of a shocker. Considering they don't have a QB with any experience, I thought N. Carolina was the shoe in. Pretty good recruiting win for Butch and the new staff. If they can get Lawson, too, that would be good for them.

No way we get Lawson. He will sign with Auburn. I do think we get Von Bell, however. Butch is not a miracle worker but is doing adequately so far.

North was willing to go to UT even with Dooley there. All Butch had to do was make the most modest of selling points. Still a good win for them.

I thought that North was all about being a part of a high-powered attack, no? Wasn't our boring offense the reason he didn't want to come here?

I doubt Tennessee is going to do much of anything in the SEC for at least a couple of seasons.

They have some really nice offensive pieces with the 3 WR's this class and Nathan Peterman

Kind of hard for the Vols to go further south without ending up in the ACC.
