The SI report stated that former defensive end Quinton Dial, former linebacker Alex Watkins and junior outside linebacker Adrian Hubbard were reportedly present in a New Orleans Marriott hotel room when Christopher Key, one of the company's founders, Christopher Key, discussed the benefits of the company's frequency-reducing hologram chips, "negatively charged" water and deer antler spray/pills.
Deer antler powder contains IGF-1, which is "a natural, anabolic hormone that stimulates muscle growth." It's banned by the NCAA and most professional sports leagues. http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=sec&id=59915

Posters on this board have raised issues with how Bama players have always looked bigger, stronger and as fast as antelopes in recent years. Well, he is your answer:
Ray Lewis isn't the only athlete alleged to have received the banned substances produced by Sports with Alternatives to Steroids.
The same Sports Illustrated story that alleged Lewis obtained a banned deer-antler spray also contained a report that several Alabama football players received S.W.A.T.S. products prior to the Crimson Tide's January 2012 win over LSU in the BCS national title game.

S.W.A.T.S. representative Christopher Key showed Sports Illustrated video of him passing out “chips” to Alabama players two days before the BCS game. The “chips” are stickers that athletes place on their wrists and heart for an alleged energy boost. Crimson Tide linebacker Alex Watkins later confirmed the effectiveness of the company's chips, “negatively charged” water and deer-antler pills in a YouTube video, SI reported.
The players were given the products for free, though Key told them he'd claim they purchased the goods from him, according to the report.
LSU players used S.W.A.T.S. products prior to beating Alabama in November 2011, according to SI.

DAV should not be on the banned list to begin with, but rules are rules.

Lots of bad press about Bama (PEDs and illegal benefits) on the Gator boards here lately. I really hope our programs are steering clear of this stuff. Too naive?

The rest of the country is going to say we are winning all these NCs because we are juicing. Not good from a PR standpoint. Hope Slive gets to the bottom of this.

Let gump stand alone on this.
"We"? The SEC?
Yeah, rah-rah good ol' SEC. Uh-HUH. Wish you had pulled for Notre Dame now?
BTW gump-loving talk radio stations are mocking this to scorn. Who cares about rules around here. Win whatever it takes.

What would be the connection to a South Florida doctor for Bama football players? Maybe a prior head coach with the Dolphins...you can't actually fathom a college coach helping to promote something like this...not someone as upstanding as Nick or his puppet coaches.

I am trying to figure out exactly what this spray does. I mean does "everything" get bigger?

The spray is a joke - you only get miniscule amounts of IGF-1 that amounts to a small dose of amino acids.
