Don't want to sound defeatist but what's new?

That's a reason why the WWF is now the WWE.

The Rock defeats punk, then Cena wins the Rumble so it will be Cena vs The Rock again.

Did Manti Te'o win or did another woman get the best of him?

When Cena lost to The Rock at last year's WM, you knew it didn't end there. You just don't have your top guy lose to The Rock unless you plan to make it up to him. Now Cena gets revenge and even better becomes WWE champion while at it. Perfect way to elevate your top guy and cement his legacy.

You and my brother would get along really well. Cena was the reason he stopped watching WWE wrestling. He's into all that Indy stuff. He goes to all those shows up in Philly and New York. He's all pumped that Vince is taking a long look at that dude El Generico.

I lost interest a long time ago, but he's still all about it. Wish he had the same interest in Gator football...

That's why I like CM Punk he is kinda a indy guy within the WWE. I like The Rock Too, but it was so predictable.

I still watch RAW sporadically but I haven't watched Smackdown in years...and frankly the WWE is just not what it used to be....I think looking back when Vince bought WCW that was the start of the downfall of pro wrestling....there is just no competition left to keep Vince on his toes and thinking creatively....even tho pro wrestling really took off in the 80's, the 90's was the true pinnacle.....I used to come home from school every Monday night and flip back and forth between WCW Nitro at 8 and WWF Raw at 9...the Attitude Era (Stone Cold, DX, Mr McMahon's character, etc) were the best years ever....I would say from late 97-2001 was the peak....

Agreed. NWO and DX in the late 90s was the apex for me. I think I lost most of my interest when Owen Hart died. He was always my favorite.

For some reason, his death is one of those events in my life where I remember exactly where I was when it happened....I used to order all the monthly Pay Per Views back when they were only 20 or 30 bux and they were actually good shows...at first I thought it was "part of the show"...didnt think much of it...then when the camera panned to JR and Lawler ringside you could just tell in their faces and voices (especially Lawler's) that something was seriously wrong....can't believe it will be 14 years this year.....seems like yesterday

I didn't see the pay per view, but I'll never forget that RAW the following night. One on the few times I remember crying as a youth.

About when the WWF became the WWE, wrestling became dead to me. It's so weird flipping through the channels and seeing it on now.
