Assuming we have a lot of students here, what is your opinion on the Vespa 300 Super.
How is Vespa reliability compared to say Honda? Would be used for pleasure not every day use.
Advice?

Not sure about Vespas but I had a Yamaha Zuma for 4 years that I got used and it was a joy. Super reliable and made getting around a breeze.

Vespa was actually the first scooter ever made in Italy for cheap trans after WWII. Metal, more expensive ($6,200) but pretty cool 278 cc cylinder, 80 mph, 65mpg.
Worried about Italian reliability but you'd think after 65 years they'd get it right.

On campus anyway. Would use mostly tooling around when out in RV. Back roads. Little traffic.
Wife will probably nix the deal. Doing the 30 day "wait and see if I still have the bug" thing.

Don't know which is better, but what I do know is that you will look foolish.
