What a great lesson- even though you are double digit favorites, even though the computers rank you #1 and your opponent #21- if you don't take the competition seriously you will lose- and many others will gleefully mock you afterwards.
We did the same thing vs Michgan in the Citrus Bowl in 2008. Hopefully we will bounce back in 2013 like we did in 2008.

Not nearly as surprised as everybody across the country would be if they actually won a big game under Richt. You have to resort to gimmicks and cute little stuff nobody really cares about when you're trying to conceal the fact that you can't really get it done when it matters. We'd probably resort to that type of behavior if every other year we had a team good enough to win a national title, yet still found ways to lose games we should've won.
The truth hurts, man. Fans of teams that win championships don't worry about congratulating teams that beat their rivals.

That's ridiculously dumb of them for one GLARING reason...we are the ONLY good team they beat last season. A mutt I work with was claiming how much he enjoyed the Sugar Bowl and I asked why with fact stated above. He got very perplexed when relizing how true it was and trying to figure out another quality win. The best was when he relized their next best wins were Vandy and Ole Miss.

UG has had the easiest schedule an SEC team can have and they still cant win the SEC much less a NC. Look at the players they had on there team this year with their 4 year qb who has yet to win a big time game due to his play. They have lost a couple defensive players this year that will definitely hurt them. Jarvis Jones is a huge loss and I am happy he is gone. Get ready to begin another streak! UG can't win the SEC while representing the east so I guess it is up to us again. Do I smell a TAMU/Bama vs's UF for 2013?

Naw. Leave that crap for the desperate UGA fans. Just like Senator Albers said, they live by the Anybody But Florida mentality. The thought, "anybody but Georgia," crossed my mind only a few times before the SEC Championship game this year, and those were the only times in my 28 years of life that I have thought that. Aside from this year, they rarely give us a reason to be jealous.

I don't think any team Florida has ever played was actually scared to play them. Football players and coaches don't think like that. Fans may, but the players and staff don't. So there isn't really nothing for us to "realize".
Whats funny is you say that like UF should be scared that their opponents aren't scared of them anymore. What kind of logic is that?

Sure they were. They knew the chances of winning were practically non-existent and the chance of getting blown out and embarrassed were great. All I said is the better teams feel they've got a shot now.

No bravado, just an outsiders view. Widen your focus. The Bowling Greens and ULLs of the world used to be automatic blowouts when the Gators roared. Those decent teams believe they can compete now - and maybe win. And the Louisvilles think they can win. If your offense (rebuilding the line, no big time receiver returning, replacing leading rusher) doesn't improve this year and your defense takes a step backwards (replacing two best LBs, both safeties plus lineman) this year?
"Sandy." Really? Didn't both teams play on the same field?
How do you think the teams the last two years stack up compared to the dominant teams Meyer had? That's the point I'm making. Doesn't really have much to do with the two games against the Dawgs the last two years. But as you're focusing on our rivalry, if you happen to lose this year and Coach Muschamp goes 0-3 against UGA will you think everything's fine and the program is at the level it was during the great streak from 90-06 - 'cause it's 3-3 since then and if the Gators lose this year it'll be 3-4 and the kids following the teams and being recruited won't really care what happened before they were born. They'll remember in high school Florida couldn't beat Georgia.

Compared to uGAy, which has never, ever had automatic blowouts . . . unless they're blowouts with the opponent scoring all the points. Be honest, did you really think poodle U had a chance against Bama? Then when they got close and had a chance, Richt shot his wad and screwed the poodles at Bama's five yeard line. uGAy was so close to being relevant again, but they let it slip through their fingertips.

The problem vs UGA was that we were too fired up- IMO. And there's no way to bring your A game each and every week- and after playing LSU/ Vandy/ USC for 3 consecutive weeks we were not sharp. Meanwhile UGA had an offweek and UK before our game. Talk about an unlevel playing field- that's not right. But next year we both get byes so no excuses.
My post was about bowl-game prep. IMO we were not mentally prepared to play Louisville- THAT'S what we need to work on.

I generally don't respond to obviously baiting posts or posters that can't communicate without teenage banalities. Even on my board I frown on posters that use garbage like "UFag", "AllBarn", "UToothless" and the like. I generally don't respond to obviously baiting posts or posters that can't communicate without teenage banalities. Even on my board I frown on posters that use garbage like "UFag", "AllBarn", "UToothless" and the like. Don't be surprised that I won't usually respond to a presumably grown man that uses "UGAy" in what should be civil discourse about football.
Good day.
I generally don't flame on rivals' websites and then plead ignorance for having done so. Too bad those on the Uneducated Georgia Athletes (Let the big dawg read!!!) websites don't embrace you. I wonder why that is.
Good evening.

Thanks for your expert testimony on that. There are others on here who would disagree. Frankly, I don't care enough to go back and list the guy's flame posts.
He is very quick to give the counterpoint on positive things about UF and to bolster the negative, though. He's so adamant about it that you'd think that he had some actual ties to Poodle U, but he doesn't.

Go back and look at where the thread took a turn off topic. Remedial work is certainly in order for you. Not sure whether that will help or not.
Good day.

Actually, I'm mocking you, but ignorance is bliss.
And you wonder why the poodles on the poodle message boards dislike you so much that you spend significant amounts of time here.
Good day.

I spend so much time here because you seem to like me so much. You follow me around like a puppy dog.
Waiting for your post on the Tebow-Russell thread. I posted stats. I'm sure you'll think they're a flame...

Tit for Tat. We need to send Corrine Brown out on the big stage to represent Gatornation and rebut this nonsense!!
He's in Corrine's league. The "Honorable" Senator Albers appears to be a lying sack of crap.
Recent reports in The Beacon, a newspaper that covers north Fulton County, drew attention to what could be a whopper. John Albers, a Republican candidate for District 56 state senator, said during a campaign forum that he ran a $5 billion division of AT&T, it reported.
Albers' claims that he was part of the billionaire-dollar business executive set were wishful, at best. We rate his statement False.

It's because you would understand it better that way, considering it's a tool you use frequently as well. lol
Listen, as for this UL win being celebrated in georgia, they're Dawg fans folks, almost the same as FSU fans only their team actually plays in a real conference. lol
This is one of the most bitter rivalries in CFB, and IMO, this is just part of the spoils that go to the winners each year. It's to be expected.
If UF was up 49 - 0 over UGA and had the ball on the Dawgs' 30 with :01 seconds left, you call a time out and set up and kick a FG to rub it in. Or you throw a bomb into the endzone on the last play.
It's the Border War folks, no holds barred IMO.

Funny thing is uga is only good at football that's it while we are usually top 10 in Football Basketball and Baseball must suck to have to watch your team get beat on a regular basis when football season is over

He grew up somewhere in south Alabama. IIRC, he got the "skinny letter" when he applied to poodle U and ended up at one of the directional schools -- not that there's anything wrong with that. So really, I don't think there's much he could teach anyone who posts on here.

Before you pin on your Grammar Police badge, you might want to go back and correct the grammar, spelling and punctuation that you've butchered in probably half of your posts.
Good evening.

Some guy from Alabama who professes to be a poodle fan coming on to a UF message board and telling UF fans how to act and what to do on this UF board? Nice.
I suspect that might be why the poodle fans over on the poodle board run you off, thus you come here.
