Florida climbed to #11 in the AP Poll and could be in the Top 10 next week, with an open date this Saturday. The bye couldn't have come for a better time with a bunch of UF Players banged up.

2nd year coach Will Muschamp said OL Chaz Green (ankle), DL Dominique Easley (knee), DL Sharrif Floyd (shoulder), RB/WR Trey Burton (back), and TE Jordan Reed (head) should be ready to play against LSU.

OL Matt Patchan remains sidelined with a strained pectoral that has kept him out all season, but Muschamp said he is confident Patchan will return this year.

The major question is whether LB Jelani Jenkins can play after missing the last 2 games with a broken thumb. <<

Yeah Tilly...after being an SEC doormat the last 2 years...I'm ready to kick some kittykat tail.....all the way back to the bayou!

I think the 3:30pm kickoff will be good for us given where we are right now and how huge this game will be. I also like the bye week - getting our players rested and healthy. I also feel we are playing a stronger second half will help us all year in certain respects. It shows we make adjustments, have endurance, and don't give up!

Auburn was hitting with intensity, but the C Dogs still got 4.0 or more per carry, average, ran many more offensive plays and held the ball much longer than Aubie.

I have not seen that intensity in hitting by our D yet this year, and we will need to bring it.

I'd love to see Matt return this year, partly of course because we could use him but more just for his own sake. How discouraging must it be to go through all the work, all the rehab, and end up injured constantly? I really hope he gets a chance to play and plays well in the last games of the season.

I've talked to some people I know in BR and they all say the feeling is an expected loss. Of course those are fans and not players so they have zero impact on the way it plays out.

This game can easily go either way. It's a great match up. I can't wait.

They really aren't as bad as they have looked the last two games, or as good as the first three. I haven't seen anything different out of them than what everyone expected coming into the season: Dominant front four with an outstanding power run game, but a relatively inexperienced back seven, a fairly average and unproven quarterback, and good, but not great playmakers at receiver. About the only surprise has been the offensive line play, owing chiefly to injuries.

They do. TN felt confident because they had been playing well, but they were ignoring the fact that we were playing well too. Right now, we feel confident going into LSU, but we're not ignoring their good play, because, well, it isn't there. They could potentially step it up, and our players certainly aren't assuming it'll be easy, but from a fan's standpoint, we are different from UT going into this game.

This would be nice, but I really don't think we'll start the game on fire. That just doesn't seem to be our MO. I see this one coming down to the 4th quarter. Now hopefully I'm right and things continue the way they have from the beginning of the season.

Yes Die....I'm sure that is what Coach Pease has in store for us. I have confidence in him that we will bring our game today and Driskel will get protection he needs. We are so fortunate to have a QB who stays calm under fire...does not buckle under when being confronted....hangs onto the ball when he has to...pitches that tater when he needs to....and can scoot when he needs to.

He is a FORCE to be reckoned with.

If I am LSU...containing him would be my #1 objective.

He will be the key today.
