This is something I'd like to see our OL do more of. You always see Bama's OL pushing TR/now Lacy an extra 3-4 yards after the RB gets stood up. I've seen a few opportunities for this today and our guys not implementing it.

Pay attention to this is the Bama game. The extra 2-4 yards several times a series adds up to a running total and makes a big difference in putting them in 2nd and 3rd and shorts.

I wouldn't call it fawning. He is backing it up with video evidence. Driskel is going to be special. He is going through his reads, he is stepping into the pocket and his accuracy is scary.

If he keeps developing his chemistry with his receivers it is going to be sweet to watch the offense in the next 2 years. I wasn't a fan of the short passes he was throwing in our first 6 quarters, but since then, he has gotten better.

I agree. Give driskel enough time and he can hurt you with crisp throws. Coaches were right in the extra dimension we get with Jeff's legs when the oline does break down.

Once driskel masters the playbook and knows it inside out, the no huddle can be deadly.

Here's to hoping we preserve a shutout and Gilly gets his yards so he can rest up.

D finally making some plays. That being said worst looking 24-0 game I have seen. Both lines continue to struggle. We can’t put any pressure on their qb and our qb is under pressure on every throw. Our lines are our Achilles heel and we will likely pay for it when we play the meat of our schedule. Driskel is a little off and still holding the ball too long. I think we will run a lot in the 2nd half. Also a ton of penalties. This is not the step forward we were all hoping for. Hopefully they look better in the 2nd half!

I wouldnt call that last play of the half a dumb one. Gators had time to get two plays off. But they gave up a sack, the only play that would keep the Gators from another play.

Much love to Driskell, but these guy are big and physical. they get open and fight for the ball. I haven't seen that consistently in SO LONG. with the chemistry they seem to be developing I am very exciting. Also, LOVED the call to the dumpoff to the FB Joyer near the endzone, brilliant playcall.
