I hope not, but coming back from 21 down with this offense is a tall order.

DL is stuffing the run and our front 4 has never been big pass rushers, need our DBs to step up big time, and need CWM and Quinn to find some blitzes that work...

Seems like too many put too much emphasis on the outcome of the FSU game. If you think about it, we didn't play well from late October to late November. We tend to remember the good games and over-credit the team for wins. The reality is that we are lucky to be 11-1 and the guys that got us there (defense) are not getting it done tonight. With some exceptions, Gators never seem to play too well when we get over-hyped....which we've been ever since the FSU game.

Thing is, we haven't had a lot of chances to wear down their D in the first half.

We need to force them to punt at least four times in the second half and we need to score some TD's. If we can tie this game up, it's our's I think.

I liked the way we spread the field in the first half and really moved the ball around well at times. Put Debose and Burton in the game at the same time on more of those spread plays and let UL's defense sort it out.

We're only two scores down and we are clearly capable of winning this game if we can just play like we give a darn on defense. We are totally flat on D tonight. They have to shake it up and get into a good rhythm and we could rattle and stop UL on O.

No. I wanted us to defer until halftime. Normally you lose the coin toss, the ref asks the other team what they want to do. If they defer, the ref asks you to pick a side to defend.

He does not ask you if you want the ball. What the hell does that mean? You no longer have a choice after the winner of the coin toss chose to defer.

I think the ref was a bit nervous. Make sense now?
