Anyone Journal?

Two weeks into my 2013 this journal, this will be the tenth year I've done this. It started more with as a schedule log, listing things like exercise, hours worked, places I went, and activities I did with peers. When I realized it could be used retroactively to realize the importance of not wasting days it has since become more sophisticated. Anyone either journal or store up other mediums of capturing your past? What value do you receive from it?

I'd be afraid my journal could be used against me in a court of law.

I started a journal for my then unborn child in 1997. I'm on #5 journal.

I've written mostly to child one, but now include all the kids in the family.

I've written about events big and small. About 9/11. About Y2K. About 2012.

I have made the kids promise me they will not read any of them until they reach age 18.

I hope they like what they read as much as I have writing the entries.

I did it for a class back in High School. Wish I would have continued. I still read that Journal on occasion.
