Didn't see a lot of anything in that article other than the standard political talking point BS.

If you can't learn from our own history, if you can't look at China with air quality so poor they passed deadly to humans long ago, if you can't understand mercury in our food sources, it isn't our side that is uninformed.

Dem logic: Dems vote to give more money to "science" than Pubs do. They are therefore the pro-science party.

Dems also vote to give more money to abortion providers when their number of abortions goes up. But they are not pro-abortion.
