View Full Version : Who might be waivering since Quinn left?
TOS was saying Brantley, Hearns and Riles are possible decommits. Anyone else we need to worry about?
Brantley and Riles already stated they're solid
Bower also said it changed his interest in UF.

I'll have my daughter talk to Hearns. She doesn't really know him very well, but maybe I can get her to yell at him in the hall between classes.

I'm wavering. I'm not sure if Durkin will be as good a paper DC as Quinn, since we all know it's Muschamp calling the defenses.

Brantley: ”That’s a big loss but I think we’ll be OK. I’m not going anywhere. Coach Young is my primary recruiter and will be my position coach, so he’s really the coach that matters the most to me.”
Riles: “It really hit me. But it’s going to be a better deal for coach Quinn and his family, so you have to understand where they’re coming from and learn to live with it. Coach Young is going to be my position coach when I slide inside (to defensive tackle) and he told me they’re still going to run the same scheme. So I have nothing to worry about.”

As long as Durkin's headset isn't actually plugged in, I think we'll be fine.

There is an article in the AJC that says UGA may make a run at Riles AFTER his official visit this weekend.

Brantley can't afford to waiver or Muschamp will send him packing real quick!!! This guy is on thin ice...

His teammate Taj Williams is going as well. They will probably visit another school together next weekend. James official to Florida is on Feb 1st.

Why do you think this?
You would have to believe the Eagles just hired a figurehead who couldn't call his own defenses yet, and was willing to gamble that he would be able to in a much tougher arena.

We all know it's really just Chip Kelly's defense.

Is there a back up plan if Hearns decommitts or do we save the scholly? Which of our current committments at LB is projected inside?

I read a tweet from Mark Wheeler today stating that the coaches visited Q. Powell recently. I'm wondering if the book is really closed there.

I just read he's still has us in his final 3 with both usc's.

If anybody leaves it has nothing to do with Quinn leaving.
I am not sure but I do think Quinn was the point man on Bowers and Reed's recruitment.

Again, the rally cry from here out should simply be to maintain what we already have. Anything more is nice, but keeping what we have is critical.
It is an awesome class.
