Nice. From his early recruitment, Floyd has always impressed me with his maturity, sincerity, and thoughtfulness. NFL teams have to be drooling over a guy with such obvious physical and intangible qualities.

I really liked how he stated Muschamp would take us to a national championship. He'll always be a Gator.

I was hoping this was a similar message like the 04 Junior year message... :(

Purely selfish reasons by the way.

Great Gator, hope the buc's get him, as I do all gators that end up in the NFL, but I think he will be gone way before the bucs get to pick.

It was a nice message... too bad bad he played like someone who had his eye on his pro stock instead of the man across from him the Sugar Bowl.

Sorry, but that's how I feel about it.

Great Gator. I hope we're watching him on Sundays for a long time to come. Cool how he included professors in there -- hope he comes back to finish his degree a la Emmitt and the others.

He had 5 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 pass block. When you broke down the game film and graded him out, what did you see?

The Sugar Bowl may have been his best game of the year.

Hmmm, well, I can't argue with that, as I have not had a chance to look at the game tape with all that's been going on at home lately, but I still do remember him taking some plays off too. I stand corrected.

Seriously?? Kid played his ass off and showed why he is going to be a 1st rounder. If he was the type to take plays off he wouldn't have bothered to take this ad out. He would not have given a second thought to the university, the coaches, players, and fans.

I remember his first day. Just had a good feeling about this kid. Knew he would be a beast. But I'm sure most thought that. Never in my mind did I ever think he would be a bust. Not in college anyway. Good luck, Flooooooooyd.

I posted that I stand correct on the issue. I never looked at the tape of the game and it was wrong of me to judge his performance as poor without looking at the tape first.

I wasn't bashing his personal character, and it's amazing how some of those who post here somehow link a criticism of performance to that of character.

That said, I don't intent to argue the issue ad nauseum with some here who seem to live for conflict on these boards. I was wrong to make a presumptuous judgement on Floyd's play in the game. I think I was very clear on that before.

So it was Floyd's mistake that we lost? Poor team effort, horrible second half play call and a mistake to start Debose in the bowl. That's how I feel about it. This was a team loss that resulted from complacency from the coaches and players alike. We lost our fire and our composure. The game plan was poor and the second half kickoff was a horrific decision. Poor team discipline and mistakes reminded me of last year. I like Muschamp and he'll be better next year but lets be honest, coaching mistakes were the story here.

Seriously. That kid always played hard. I will never understand why some treat these kids so dismissively.

It's because he's a big 300 lb defensive lineman from "the hood." There is a stereotype about big black guys on the defensive line and it plays a factor in how people (fans) perceive their on-the-field play as well as off-the-field behavior.

It is funny, until I read the memo from my new boss that I'm now in charge of all social media. I just turned 55 on Thursday and I may be spending two to three hours day on twitter.
