The Obama administration breaks the law again.. Not the first time and certainly not the last. And you can kiss my butt that this has anything to do with the "fiscal cliff" deal. Garbage! They simply don't want to put a budget up.

The liberals and their myrmidons the "low information voter" don't understand or care. The press doesn't care either...

The White House has informed House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) that it will miss the legal deadline for sending a budget to Congress.

Acting Budget Director Jeff Zients told Ryan (R-Wis.) in a letter late Friday that the budget will not be delivered by Feb. 4, as required by law.

“They have no baseline,” one expert said. The expert said it may also be the case that the administration does not want the budget to be taken as an opening offer in the coming fight over raising the nation's $16.4 trillion debt ceiling.

Sorry. The Bush administration set the precedent that laws are only as good as the enforcement mechanism when it comes to the executive branch.

It's a free-for-all now.

Maybe you should send a note back to past congresses, which have only met their own budget deadlines six times since 1974.

The federal budget deadline laws have no enforceability and are missed every. single. year. by just about every department of government.

And not to put too fine a point on it, but the military is the major holdup in this year's budget slowness.

Doesn't your indifference to that now tacitly confirmed that you only cared on the first place because BUSH? At least criticizing the most recent and severe abuse can take shelter behind the slippery slope.

If Obama put up a budget, he and cronies would actually be exposing all the hundreds of billions that is being funneled to unions and campaign supporters.

It's amazing to listen to this lying sack of socialist garbage keep trying to blame the Republicans whenever he can't get his way. It's just incredidble too how the LMSM absolutely refuses to call him on any of his lies, and the way the libs here just bend over backwards to make excuses for him.

No. No one cares - or rather, no one has ever cared about this in the past. It's purely procedural. We're in year 39 of this routinely being a non-issue. Why do people suddenly care now?

Honestly, if Boehner is worth anything at all he should make it clear that the next and only item on the House's agenda is a budget and, once that is completely through Congress and signed into law, we can talk about the debt limit or sequester or anything else. Go ahead and clean up this Sandy bill.

Then pass a budget.

Then adjourn until the Senate has passed one and either needs the House back for conference or Obama signs it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "BS." The budget is very, very rarely passed on time by the president or congress.

It's just not that big of a deal. It gets passed eventually and crap is funded with or without it anyways.

Five minutes with google, Bill. It's all we ask.

Does Obama hold the record for the most untimely budget? Four years and counting.

Who knew...Bush did it, so Obama should do it too. Who knew that Democrats would warm up to Bush so much they'd want Obama to follow in his footsteps?
