After it looking like some of our OCC might be questionable, it is coming together...
Wisconsin is 3-0 in B1G play with a blowout of #12 Illinois.
Marquette is 3-0 in Big East play with wins vs. UConn, #19 Georgetown, and at Pitt.
FSU is 2-1 with road wins at Clemson and Maryland and the lone loss is UNC. (This one still doesn't look that much better but I'm shocked they've beaten anyone in the ACC).
Arizona of course only has 1 loss.
Kansas State (who some said would be bad) is 2-0 in the Big 12 including a win over former #22 Oklahoma State.

Middle Tenn St. has an RPI of 37 and Air Force took UNLV to overtime yesterday.

That is part of why UF is number 1 in Ken Pomeroy's rankings.

I hope FSU wins the ACC crown.
How can one possibly root against a Florida team, and especially one that the Gators crushed on their home court?

Trust me, it's quite easy.

I won't listen to anyone who knocks our scheduling.
Billy D is not shy in taking on top teams.

I rooted for FSU once when they were playing Duke.
I then felt so dirty I needed to take a shower.

i don't mind pulling for fsu when facing UNC or Duke etc (in hoops only, mind you)...but it is weird. and i don't regularly pull for them against anyone else.

Based on the past few seasons, I don't see how anyone at all could knock the Gators' scheduling. Donovan has definitely lined up some tough opponents, and what's more, is that they aren't just in Gainesville. Aside from the home and home games with Arizona, OSU(previos two seasons) etc, is the not-so-neutral site games like Kansas State in KC. Goes without saying the scheduling has been a boost to RPI and overall preparedness for March.

Florida's previous opponents are definitely starting to do their part.Personally, I'll still be somewhat interested in tracking Georgetown to see what kind of ultimate effect their record could have had on Florida's RPI. That was a pretty bad loss they took at home to Pitt last wek.

becoming a real fan of basketball in the state of Wisconsin, where we are already state champs :)

Yes - competitive game between Wis/Indy in Bloomington. Wis appears to have kicked into a new gear this past week.

Wow. Wisky up 5 with 2:00 to go. T/O Indy with the ball. See if the Hoosiers can pull it out, but they are not very impressive in this game.

BTW - Big Ten basketball gets outta the 50s with the same frequency of a Chuck Berry rock-a-billy tune.

Wisky by 6 now with another f/t and only :53 left. Can they close out? Could be a huge SOC game for us.

Wow! Big time effort from the Badgers. Bo Ryan is one of the most underrated coaches in the game.

I haven't been able to watch this game, but is this the same Wisconsin team the Gators put a beat down on? I'm guessing they've greatly improved since that time (their point guard definitely needed some more game experience) as IU is no joke and they are doing this at Assembly Hall. Glad we're not playing Wisconsin in the middle of our SEC schedule (esp in light of all the injuries) ;-)
Edit: Also Vandy is giving Ole Miss all it can handle. Looks like Ole Miss will win in OT but it's not over yet.
