View Full Version : Partyrockin' With A Former FSU QB

So bros, had to get some extra partyrockin' in over the holidays, in case them Mayans were right. Out at this one club one night and these two guys come in.
One of them went straight to the bar and started trying to talk to the dancers. The other was walking around, getting so alpha and asking for the manager. I'm looking at him, thinking he must've bumped a few rails because he's high strung and sweating, even tho it was cool outside.
He tells the manager they want to sit in one of the VIP sections, which you get if you buy a bottle. The manager goes and gets a couple of bottles of champagne, 100 bucks each, and asks him which one he wants. He goes, "I'LL TAKE BOTH OF THEM BECAUSE JON STARK WILL BE PARTAKING IN SOME BEVERAGES TONIGHT!" Then he starts calling dancers over to sit with him, "LADIES, IT'S TIME TO PARTY! BIG DADDY IS IN THE HOUSE!!!" So alpha!
I'm looking at this bro, thinking he looks like Gary Busey's kid and I ask the manager who the guy is. He shrugs at me and goes, "Only Jon Stark I know played for the Knicks and that ain't him." So I turn to the guy and I go, "Hey bro, who are you?"
He turns to me and goes, "I'M JON STARK! I PLAYED QUARTERBACK FOR FSU AND IN THE NFL!!!" I'm like, man, I've never heard of this guy but I want to party with him. Me and the manager get on my phone and google the guy.
Turns out, he was the third string quarterback for a couple of years at FSU behind Charlie Ward and a couple of guys I've never heard of (wtf is a Thad Busby? lol). He transferred and played for some little school in Illinois and the Ravens drafted him in the 7th round of the 1996 draft. Played as a backup for the Ravens for a year and then was suspended indefinitely for associating with a known bookie. I def had to hang out with this guy, nomsayin'?
He complained to the manager that one of his bottles of champagne was too warm, so the manager comped him two bottles. He looked at one of them and goes, "BRO, I'VE SEEN THIS CHAMPAGNE AT WALMART FOR EIGHT BUCKS!" He told the manager he'd give him twenty bucks to chug the whole bottle. It was on.
He must've told me ten times that night, "I'M JON STARK! I PLAYED QUARTERBACK FOR FSU!" We popped so many bottles in the ice that night that he fell flat on his face at one point and was just laying on the floor. Bro's the most alpha bro I've ever met.

Don't know, bruh. I'd guess it has something to do with gambling, if he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for associating with bookies and never played in the league again.
One of them strippers told me he says he makes $50,000/month but when she asked him how he makes that much, he was to slizzard to talk about it. He just kept telling her, "I'M JON STARK! I'M THE BIG DADDY!"

Long and short of it.
I was in Tally, ya know, partyrockin, and was standing behind Weinke at a bar waiting for a beer. I asked how his neck was doing since he just had surgery, he said "good, thanks". I said it was too bad he didn't wait till after he played UF to get it fixed because Big Money was about to break it again. Then I gatorchomped in his face. Hard ass gator chomp. Just came out, I couldn't help myself, and yeah, I was close to being drunk....
Anyway. Best part was that I believe HE got booted out of the bar for blowing up and I started laughing. Yeah, he's probably a good guy and it was uncalled for, but he's a nole, and like 80, so screw him.
On topic. One of my freinds little brothers went to FSU and punched Rix in the stomach and be double over to the floor. Eevryone around just started laughing. I thought it was funny as well when I heard the story.

I don't like being teased. Go into a strip club in the USA and you are paying whatever is in your pocket to get teased. Go into a real strip club, head over to the bar grab a beer, walk over to the seats near the pool table or juke box (yes you still see lots of them) take a look around the room ...
The girls will be sitting near the bar or against any of the walls.
A few guys will already be buying them some drinks.
The unoccupied girls will be shyly or not so shyly checking you out while you act like you are enjoying your beer. Soem of them have a few extra pounds. Some of them have been at work way too many years. Some of them look like they should be doing bigger things with their lives but you aren't there to judge them and frankly, when you first walk in, your still hoping you can make it home alive and in one piece.
A few sips of the beer and allowing the music to relax you, songs you will recognize, and you start to forget whatever is happening outside the walls. Get there early enough and the girls will still be somewhere else asleep and you can be there when they all walk in.
At some point you look around and like a kid in a candy store with money burning a hole in his pocket you realize, kind of giddily, you can have whatever the hell you want. That is real party rockin'.

Hit up the club last night to see if JON STARK was around. Asked the manager about him. He started laughing and said that about a week ago, he got a call from a woman asking if JON STARK was hanging out there.
He played stupid with her and acted like he'd never seen the guy before. Turns out, it was JON STARK'S girlfriend, trying to track him down. Later in the evening, he says, who turns up at the club? IT'S JON STARK!!!
Wish I'd been there to see this, bro. The manager said he was wearing a nice polo shirt, basketball shorts, and penny loafers. He tried to get JON STARK to go home, but the bro was all, "JON STARK WANTS TO PARTAKE IN SOME BEVERAGES!!!" He was doing it right, getting slizzard.
By the end of the night, JON STARK was next to the stage, trying to dance to the music, but he could barely stand. They called a cab for him and sent him home. He hasn't been back since. God speed, JON STARK!!!

Anybody remember the fsu QB who was called "Rooster"? What was his real name?
It was Marcus Outzen. I still hate thinking about that game (1998). Outzen seemed to run untouched so many times up the middle of the field it made me sick.
Tony George got ejected before the game for the melee that was started by FSU's third stringers. Still sure that was part of Bobby's game plan.

Thanks, Welsh...All I could remember was "Rooster"..That guy was a thorn in our sides that game. I dont think he was much of a QB in reality,though..

Exactly--he wasn't. Although when he played us he was Namath, Montana, Brady, Manning, and every other superstar QB you can think of rolled into one. He could do no wrong when he played us...and only us. Had the game of his life.
Go figure.
