Ya, lol, you missed it, I guess.

OT Tyler Moore and OL Max Garcia transferred in. Both are eligible to play this coming season because both have sat out for a year.

OT Trenton Brown is a huge JUCO OT prospect.

OG Octavius Jackson is who I know least about - the staff jumped on him before other big programs had a chance and offered early.

OC Cameron Dillard is a solid recruit. He's done really well at a lot of the camps. There was really ever only 2 guys we were looking at for Center, Dillard and Brandon Kublanow, we offered Kublanow first, but he chose Jawja.

We already have a star OT in DJ Humphries and we can also expect to see more of Jessamen Dunker next season. Tyler Moore and Trenton Brown will be competing for the spot opposite of Humphries. Max Garcia should be able to play anywhere we need him along the OL, but I think he'll settle at OG. He'll see plenty of time.

We also have Harrison, Koehne, Halapio and a few other coming back. Our OL for next year should only show improvement. And there's no recruit in the nation, who we could realistically get, who could unseat any of the three names I mentioned.

Extremely weak and puny O-Line recruiting. Biggest prospect-Trenton Brown-5'8/250. The sky is fallin.

I think you all misunderstand what he's asking. He wants to know where they are, literally.

As in, are they at The Swamp right now watching the game? Are they chilling at home?

Right, OP???

Trenton Brown, Dj Humphries, harrison, Dunker, green, Moore, Garcia, Dillard, Halapio, Koehne, Thurman, Silberman, and a few other are there as well. The first few mentioned will be the starters this coming yr, and no one is a slouch

Could very well see a lineup next year of:

Humphries, Moore, Harrison, Garcia, and Brown.

That's a pretty good offensive line right there.

My only concern would be Brown. He could be another Xavier Nixon, large and not very mobile.

That was amazing how that guy held on to his position. He definitely took plays off several times a game.

But, I do think we have more depth next year too. So hopefully we don't get stuck again for four or whatever years with an chronic underachiever.

Completely wrong. Where do you come up with this sh!t!?! I see Garcia at LG and Moore at RG. Get your sh!t straight. Lol. But in all seriousness, I see Chaz Green as difficult to overtake as he played very well down the stretch at RT. I'm drunk. What do I know

Our OL recruiting this year has been outstanding. We're going to have some fierce competition for PT next year. Chaz will need to improve if he wants to keep his spot.

It's possible with Green. Off seasons can do wonders for linemen. Dunker will be in the mix too.

Definitely a big step up next season, but this group will peak the following season, when Driskel's a senior and all four of our running backs will have an additional year of experience. They could turn out to be like the '84 OL.

I know but we should have enough competition that his head-down blocking will land him on the bench.

When you have depth/competition like this, taking plays off is not an option. Some very talented guys will get a wake-up call this Spring.

It's only been touched on briefly, but the current group of offensive linemen have had a different position each of the last three years. Just getting two straight spring and pre-fall practices behind them with the same coach and the same scheme could make a huge difference with the current group of OL. I expect a lot of improvement from them, but also expect two or more of the expected starters to become backups, albeit reliable backups.

My only concern would be Brown. He could be another Xavier Nixon, large and not very mobile.

At 6 foot 8 350 Brown is a much bigger tackle than LT Nixon (6-6 314) who for most of his career was too light. You normally put those big types at RT. A more bulked up and mobile Humphries will be at LT in lieu of Nixon who is a great kid but choked at inopportune times.
Looking at youtube Brown held his own.

I have in the past. I still have concerns about him stepping in against SEC DEs and LBs. If I remember correctly, Nixon looked damn good on film too and was very highly recruited.

Nixon was regarded as a stud coming out of high school. Beating out Miami for his services was considered one of the great triumphs of our 2009 class, along with bringing in Debose.

And Xavier did play really well as a true freshman in 2009. After that, however...

Well, no coincidence that the decline in our coaching staff coincided with Nixon's drop off.

Some guys respond to the adversity, some do not.... Although, to be fair to Nixon, he had plenty of company.

OT Trenton Brown is a huge JUCO OT prospect.

TOS ran a story Dec 19th about our three JUCO players who signed LOI.

Several articles stated that Moore, Brown and Cummings were expected to enroll in January and will be eligible to play in 2013.

On their front page, Brown & Cummings are listed, but TOS doesn't list Tyler Moore as having signed a binding LOI.

What's up ? Is he on campus & enrolled in classes ?

Per Zach A, Trenton Brown apparently came up a few credit hours short and will not be enrolling in the spring. Should be there in the summer.

Maybe our athletics (football revenue/money) department should reduce the amount of of money (in the millions of dollars a year) that they pump into the academics departments at the University of Florida. The academics department continually screws our football program year after year.
