Bottom line is lick the wounds and get ready to roll next year. Hopefully this will make them hungry

Bottom-line: they watch an offense that can't block a Big East team, and a defense that can't stop a Big East team ... and they see playing time.

what about our targets?

I didn't think that Clemson beating LSU hurt us with Robinson. I do think that last nights performance could hurt us with Robinson. The one thing that really stook out to me last night was the inability to run a hurry up offense. Jeff has been the QB all year and we still can't run a hurry up I don't understand that! Jeff must start to grow up more in the spring or Florida will not be a title threat next year.

A screenshot of the scoreboard with Louisville up 24-3 should be on every players locker next year. No excuse.

I agree....
A PERMANENT SCREENSHOT in bronze would be better!

Now... I also wonder if a lot of our players took this game too lightly.
Were they partying out on Burbon Street the night before?

As a former Gator player (offensive tackle)...

I am embarassed!
That's all I can write about this whole thing.
This is the only post that I am going to make post-game.
I am drained and I am embarassed.

what about our targets?

I dont think it will have a big impact what about last night would change their minds ?
Those guys are also not going to have some sort of public reaction

what about our targets?

All it should mean is that they all (incoming freshman) stand a better chance to replace a starter when they come in.

I have a hard time believing that our struggles in the passing will come as a surprise to Demarcus Robinson. If he's still interested in us after 12 weeks of the regular season, one more unimpressive passing performance in a bowl game isn't going to have some earth-shattering effect.

Especially if he realizes that he's one of the missing pieces that can fix it.

The loss shows potential recruits that playing time is to be had!

Wins and losses influence a few players some.

But those are the exceptions rather than the rule.

Exactly. The recruits saw UF beat 4 out of 5 top 12 teams this year. They know that this was a fluke game. With the talent we have returning and coming in '13 and '14 can be special years

These kids have also been involved in "fluke" games their HS careers too, so it's not like they can't figure out what happened Wednesday night.

A lot of these kids know UF is back in the picture and have a chance to make some big impacts for the Gators, especially the new WR's, and you can tell none of these recruits are afraid of competition.

I really think WR is the part of this team that really held UF back a lot the last couple of years too.

They see playing time at just about every position except for special teams. The only question they might have is what kind of coaches would have the team so unprepared?
