It's a valid point if you only follow football recruiting and I get it.

With that said, anyone who follows basketball recruiting knows who he was talking about.

If someone had said "Tunsil picks LSU", everyone here would have known. Or even "Robinson to Clemson".

Could it have been more clear? Absolutely. Do most of the football guys care anything about it? I wouldn't expect it.

For what it's worth, I knew who you were talking about. His name has been popping up on every Gator message board for awhile. Also, "'x' picks Duke" is pretty clear... How many of our football recruits, past and present, have turned down the gators in favor of Duke?? heh

But even without Parker, our basketball recruiting has picked up a bit. Billy D, who is honestly a great person, is doing a bang-up job. I think we get to, at least, the Elite 8 this year.

Parker was a long shot for UF. Was very surprised when we ended up in his top three. We still have a shot at Randle, who is actually the #2 prospect on Rivals, and we already have AAU teammates, #8 Chris Walker (PF) and #9 Kasey Hill (PG) who played in the backcourt last season with UF freshman Michael Frazier. With these guys plus the transfers who are sitting out and practicing with the team every day, they will have more talent on the roster than they've ever had. This does not really qualify as "bad news."
