Lane talks UF visit, Alex Collins
As for Alex Collins, Lane said the coaches put together a great visit for him and he doesn't see how someone wouldn't want to come to Florida after a trip like that. Lane thinks a tailback trio with him, Taylor and Collins would be a great idea and he hopes that it happens.

Lane added that Collins didn't commit this weekend, but he thinks Florida has the lead.



On the 3 WRs
First of all, Marqui Hawkins was not able to come down this weekend because of a death in his family. He says he'll take his official in January but hasn't rescheduled the visit yet.

Demarcus Robinson is not picking up his phone right now and probably won't. But I ran into him this morning with his mom. He wasn't able to do an interview with me because they were headed to campus to meet with academic advising. He said his visit was going great and looked to be enjoyed himself as you expect.

Lastly, 2014 commit Ryeshene Bronson told me he's currently in Gainesville watching UF practice

Any truth to the rumor Robinson is 50-50 and will meet with his HS coach tonight to make a final decision?

It's not a rumor, that's what his coach told a Clemson site. We'll see what happens. He didn't look 50-50 to me when I saw him today. Obviously anything can happen between now and early enrollment, but he's wanted to be a Gator for quite some time and I doubt his decision is going to change.

The day Lane committed last winter, he said he was trying to get Bryant to commit to the Gators. He knows that having more great backs will make UF a better team, and having more competition will make all of them better players. He might be my favorite player in this class.

We need some clarification about Robinson given the thread about him flipping back to Clemson today. Very concerned about what might have happened with him when he met with his academic advisor. There seems to have been no communication since that meeting, except rumors from Clemson that he flipped back.

Yeah, a radio talk show in the panhandle had a guy from Rivals and he said its a done deal as of now but still waiting for Miami visit and sanctions and Gators space (we have others higher on our needs/wants list

I have heard Collins enjoyed his trip to Florida. You have to remember Collins best friend is going to FSU. Miami also gets the last visit if they can convince him the sanctions wont be to bad they have a good chance of getting him. And like somebody else said we might not have room for Collins.

I am not sure what Mack Brown is going to do. He has two years of eligibility left I don't see why he cant be the #2 RB. If I was him I would probably stay and see what I could do in the spring.

we did not close well last year with the players that took their last visits elsewhere. IMO, collins would be just extra gravy on an already good class.

Gray as of right now Muschamp expects Brown there and competing for the #1 spot.
