He either has or probably will talk to the Clemson staff today, you don't talk to people for a year then just shut the door in their face. Dont stress over it he made a public decision he wont change it this quickly. And to the fact OV and dead period coming up looks like Gator but stranger things have happen

I hear Notre Dame made an offer of two indugences and on his death bed he will receive total consciousness. I hate when Benedict get directly involved in recruiting...

Coach says Robinson may actually be favoring Clemson now
By Phil Kornblut
WR Demarcus Robinson of Ft. Valley, GA has himself caught up in an old fashion recruiting tug-of-war according to his coach Chad Campbell. Robinson committed to Clemson last July but this week flipped to Florida after an in home visit from the Gator staff including head coach Will Muschamp. Clemson retaliated yesterday by sending in Chad Morris, Jeff Scott and Robbie Caldwell. Head coach Dabo Swinney had previously visited.
"He's 50-50, or I'd even say 60-40 Clemson," Campbell said Friday morning. "He's confused, he's torn between them. It's a tough decision. They (Clemson coaches) hit him with all their selling points. They were on top of their game." Robinson will make his official visit to Florida this weekend then he and his coach will meet Sunday to sort things out. Notre Dame's recruiter also came in Thursday after the Clemson coaches but Campbell told him the Irish were no longer in play. Robinson made an official visit to Notre Dame November 3rd. He visited Clemson the following weekend.

Sooooo.. How do you see this playing out? I can't see how his coach says he's torn? He just said the SEC will better prepare him for the next level which is the NFL, and had great comments... So kind of lost with this...

He is torn he has been torn for a long time in this process Clemson throws the ball a lot. The staff just needs to do very well this weekend, if he is still committed come Monday he will be a gator (I think) the dead period starts after this weekend. Dead period ends I think Jan 3rd right before the all star games. By the Jan 4th or the 5th he would be arriving to enroll at Florida so it would be very hard to flip after the dead period.

In other words tell him something like this.... " Demarcus, we could not throw the ball this year as much as we wanted to simply based on the fact we did not have that WR threat that a great passing team like Clemson has. But with the addition of you we can start throwing more, you'll be the poster boy of not only the Florida receiving core, but receivers all over the nation. Your impact will be huge, and you can start as the Play Station square receiver from day 1. With you here we can start being a more threat downfield and in the passing game overall, you have the chance to be the face of this university "

I have no clue what they will tell him they just need to make sure he sticks with Florida. He the most important recruit in the class. CWM and Joker are very good recruiters but this will be a team effort his host and other gator players need go all out.

He was supposed to have canceled the in-home visit with Clemson, so they countered by showing up at his school today. They are selling him on being the next Sammy Watkins...we need to sell him on being the First Demarcus Robinson.
Wait this is going to be fine he gets to Gainesville today

Something tell me his coach like Clemson a little bit more than Florida. I think we will hold on after this weekend. You always want to be the last person in the room.

Yeah just from what you said earlier he sounded like he liked Clemson. I'm not sure Robinson is 60/40 for Clemson. We'll see I guess

Does Demarcus want to play in the ACC against mediocre competition or play on a true National Title contending team in the SEC against the best players in college? If he wants to play against the best players week in and week out then UF...if you want to play in 2 exciting games all year and not get to go against the top talent in college...go to Clemson.

BS...what world are you living in...I know kids getting paid in junior high for basketball and then it gets worse for high school and college. There are so many street agents and coaches that break simple rules all the time and now you are trying to tell me the dead period is some kind of ironclad rule that no one would dare break. I respect the information you bring to the site but your naivte on the reality of recruiting especially with the dead period made me laugh.

If college recruits are being offered cars, money, and other benefits, then UF must be cheating like hell to have the #1 class. I predict the death penalty for UF within 2 or 3 years.
