I was at the Knicks-Heat game last night. Good to see James White get in the game and get some minutes. He looked good.
Knicks were bombing 3's. Heat fans left early.
Usually the NBA is unwatchable, but this game was entertaining.

You are obviously not a Heat fan. Check back in the spring, when the real games start.

Interesting. Stephen A. Smith was SO sure the Heat were bad against Washington because they were looking forward to the Knicks. It was all about the Knicks. I imagine Skip had fun with that one this morning. I missed it today.

I don't understand the "unwatchable" comments. The offensive flow of the NBA is much better than college. The 24 second shot clock is something I wish college basketball would adopt, along with not resetting the entire shot clock on fouls (why does a team need so many seconds to run a play? Ridiculous.). It's a rather cliche and overly basic argument, but it rings true: college ball has more passion behind it and more raucous crowds, but the NBA has the true superstar talent and amazing play.
Yeah, the elite college teams play a high level of basketball that is truly fun to watch, but there's not a lot of those teams. Most teams in college have an offense that looks like this: swings the ball to left, pump fake, swings the ball back to PG, pump fake, 10 foot drive, swings the ball to right, pump fake, 7 foot drive, tries entry pass to center, deflected ball out of bounds. Yay. Speed the game up already.

Are the Knicks for real? Are they the team to beat in the East?

If they shoot like they did against the Heat they can beat anybody, seemed like they didn't miss in the 3rd quarter
