What the players and coaches have done so far this year has been amazing. What a fun team to watch. Impossible to pick the star of this team and not a weak position on the floor. The sum is truly greater than the parts.

Donovan is a great coach, and congrats to the team for buying in and doing what he tells them to do.

We really have three elite defenders in WY, KB, and SW when most teams might have one above average defender. Is it fair to compare WY to a young Rodman...he really can defend and rebound like Dennis and I think his offensive game will be better as well.

The defensive energy WY, KB and SW bring is what I've been thinking is the key this year. Like phi says, they are elite. And Frazier seems to like playing defense. Eric is much improved on defense this year. That seems to be rubbing off on Rosario, Young and Prather. Everybody is busting their butts on D, getting us lots of easy baskets.

It's a nicely put together team. We've got 3 good guys inside, although Pat drives everybody nuts from time to time, a bunch of very good outside shooters, a couple of guys who can go street ball and create shots, and then a long, active group of defenders. Great looking team.

At the start of the 2005/06 season, I would expect very few people thought that we had several 1st rounders on the team. Maybe Horford had the body for the NBA, but he was still pretty raw at the end of 2004/05. By the end of the 2005/06 season they played their way into lottery picks. This team may do the same, but it's still early.

I like the comparison of WY to Rodman. Pretty similar in size and what they do well, although Rodman, for his size, was the best rebounder in the league for a span of 5-6 years.

WY plays that role for us, though, and he plays it well.

This team has good chemistry and most importantly, seem to really enjoy playing together.

I know it's a team effort, but there is a look in KB's eyes that I can only explain as being sheer determination. He really seems to be the silent leader of this team and he's ready to make a run at a title.

It's just a really, really fun team to watch. It's amazing how they've dismantled the teams on the schedule so far. Hopefully we still have a lot of room for growth this season and will be even better and more battle tested come March.

GO GATORS!

I'm just hoping the development and winning ways can continue. Donovan is the best, for sure-we are very fortunate to have him. I often wonder if the football and basketball teams inspire each other...curious on that one. I mean football...we were hoping and praying they were gonna be better this year, and they turned out nearly making the big game. Basketball was hopefully gonna be good, but lost a key guy and now appears to be perhaps one of the big surprises in the top ten. Early yet, lot of games left to play but all looks very promising. We're are fortunate here in Gator town. Big shout out and thanks to the players and coaches. Go Gators.
