From Thompson's comments it certainly doesn't sound like he was too enthusiastic at the prospect of starting the game. Why does the game have to be in Jacksonville and not Norfolk? Why can't we start over instead of going from halftime? We don't want to play so close to the Big East debut.

Don't blame Thompson one bit. Why add a loss to the resume.

I read they were petitioning the NCAA to restart the game or just play 2nd half.
Sounds like Mike Hill heard they weren't interested from an ESPN report.
I don't think we should schedule them again. At this point, we are a much better program.

Looking at Georgetown's schedule, they have 13 days between their Dec 22 game against American & Jan 5 road game against marquette! I would think that one could fit in the Florda game here.
