might be a good game. Probably won't hold on though. Ky if they don't block the shot, they're D is mediocre.

Problem with this game for LIU, they have no one that can match up with Noel. He's getting easy lobs. LIU just too short.

LIU takes it right to the hole almost every time. If it doesn't get blocked they score. They are going right at Noel. 17-15 LIU.

Not impressed at all with Ky's D other than their shot blocking. They look below average to me. LIU is hot, though. Just like UCF was in their second half.

LIU went right at Noel again..he picked up the foul.

Right now Archie Goodwin is close to the top shooting guard in the country, he's bringing Ky back with his O and D.

LIU is a excellent offensive team--they're just over-matched by Ky's height.

Most of LIU's scores are on layups.

We look like a November basketball team with tons of freshmen having to play key roles. This is a fun game to watch!!

Coach Cal said they're playing no D...not talking to each other...not playing physical. He said they were "dying in the screen."

Ky scored 55 pts in the first half but only 4 of them were from their bench.

Announcer said this is just a track meet with everybody running up and down the court and not playing D. Reminds me of how all-star games are played.

VCU giving Dook all it can handle. 29-28 Dook at the half.

47-66. Well LIU made it interesting at the start. Looks like not much of a contest now.

Fun game to watch!!! We will probably lose to Notre Dame at their black out game but as long as we get better I could care less! I expect UK to make a little jump in ability in the next three weeks!

I don't spend alot of time watching our rivals during the preseason. I try to concentrate on getting to know our team. There's plenty of time to watch UK and the others during the conference season.

Fun game to watch if you like offense. This is a fun UK team to see play, but IMO Cal's worst team yet. Adjusted expectations makes for a much better viewing experience.

Well REM it was bound to happen. This is a bridge year and any happiness this team can bring you enjoy it. I've mentally fast forwarded to next year which makes me much happier.

I think that's a shame. But it is what you get for only having the players for one year. I love this year's Gator squad ans will spend very little time thinking about how good next year's will be. Not being offensive but I love seeing the development of our players over time. Current cases in point are Chandler Parsons lighting it up in Houston and Walter frigging Hodge as POY in Poland. I love following what we have done and hearing them praise the program long after they have left college.

Singapore we just have a difference in philosophies is all. I loved watching Darius Miller get better and better as well. I personally don't follow any UK player once they leave I don't watch the NBA.

Yeah I'm with ya. I just reread what I posted and it came off more negative than I meant it to. I'm thrilled with this year.

Singapore, you're correct its fun to see players develop over time. To each his own. I loved seeing Darius Miller improve over his 4 years at UK, but also loved seeing Wall and Davis for just 1. I, too, love having veteran players come back and mix in with a few new pieces - probably my style of preference. However, the success we've had recently with freshmen dominated teams have kept me happy regardless.

Have to say that I also loved Darius Miller's development. I just hated the way he destroyed us as a senior, I also know there will always be players who should be one & dones given the current rules. I happen to think that the rules do a disservice to us as fans. They may or may not do a disservice to the kids but they lose something in the process. Yes the millions more than compensate for what they lost but maybe the '04s had the best of both worlds. I love what we have, I loved the way Wall came back, I hope Beal feels the same way. But I'll still take Billy over anybody else in the business.
