I have never seen anyone get so many 4 point play opportunities ever. I know it's because he shoots on the way down sometimes but man it's incredible. They just said 15 for his career.

It's amazing. Most players probably NEVER get a 4-point play. He gets them routinely. Something about his unorthodox shot fools defenders.

Jeff goodmans tweets have a vendetta against boynton. Every time he missed a 3, he tweeted about it. What a little cry baby dbag picking on a hard working senior.

Yeah, WTF is up with that? does he have some connection to UF or something? odd that he would single out a senior player that really improved his game and shot a consistent 40% last year and now is temporarily playing out of position as a senior (he took a shot at him saying "if there's two guards that will let Wisconsin back in the game it's Boynton and Rosario"). Really??? Maybe he only watched film from Boynton's freshmen year (when he admittedly was not the same player he is now) - it's ridiculous to say anything like that now considering how big an impact Boynton made in the last two NCAA tournaments, and how much progress he has made.

Guy obviously knows nothing at all about Florida basketball, or basketball at all.

Yeah I don't know who that guy is in his twitter profile, I looked at it closer and whoever it was had to be too young to be Goodman.

Of course the real Goodman looks even goofier. :embarrased:

Goodman is a tool! Boynton just has a knack of making long shots with contact. You guys have a scary team. I hope enjoy the ride!!!

goodman was tweeting his 3s bc he left boynton off his list of top 50 shooters in america and many tweeters gave him grief about it

I know, that's why he is unprofessional and a d bag having it in for a great college player. He has hated Florida in the past 2 years. He has absolutely hated walker and boynton and never have boynton credit for his great improvements last year.

it really is uncanny. how many guys first get 1. fouled on 3-pointers then 2. make the shot and 3. hit the FT. It seems whenever he gets fouled on a 3-pointer you know it's going in and he makes the FT. It's ridiculous.

Nothing like 4 points on a stupid foul :)

Can't find anything on college records.

Both are ridiculously impressive.

The Celtics only have 17 in their entire history...

Looking at these numbers, you'd have to think Boyton is in rare territory with this stat. They mention Reggie Miller's leg kick, which has definitely led to a few of Boyton's 4 point plays as well.

In Billy's post game comments he took the blame for Boynton's offensive game against Wisky. He explained that he had Kenny working so hard on D and running the offense that it took away form his shooting. Extraodinary coach!

I found this from January of 2011:

ISU’s 4-point guard: Carter leads NCAA’s active players with eight successful 3+1 plays

http://tribstar.com/sports/x1581529307/ISU-s-4-point-guard-Carter-leads-NCAA-s-active-players-with-eight-successful-3-1-plays

So two seasons ago, the active leader in the NCAA had eight of them. Boynton has to at least be the active leader today.
