This guy is a trainwreck.

I think he would have been better off hitting the first layup...

Do those count as shot attempts?

Back when a held ball resulted in a jump, sometimes under your or your opponents basket, I had a player get the tip, turn and score in the opponents basket.

All were confused, and it even took the officials a minute to get oriented. We lose eventually by a point.

The next week, the player comes to office to ask if those two points would count toward his totals. I had to be restrained.

I love it when, after the first three misses, the guy's teammate comes running in to block his shot.

One time in intramurals one of my not so bright team mates got the defensive rebound after a missed free throw and then made a basket for the other team.

We joked with the refs about whether or not it was a three pointer because he was outside his own 2-point territory.

In spite of that we won the game anyways.

And we got YEARS of ribbing in, so it was well worth the 2 points.

Do those count as shot attempts?

And are those offensive or defensive rebounds after the misses?

And are those offensive or defensive rebounds after the misses?
