didn't seem much urgency on the uga side - at least when i was watching [1st half]. fox strikes me as a coach that looks at the season as a whole. willing to take a loss early in the season to get his game style worked on.

The problem with Fox is that he's brought in one non-three star in his tenure at Georgia, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He's basically their whole team at the moment, and you're not going to have success with one star and a bunch of projects. His time in Athens may be numbered if he can't improve his recruiting.

It was an incredibly poorly attended game. There is absolutely no excitement about hoops in Athens. And I know I am making this post from the vantage point of a program that struggles with its own attendance at times, but this was god-awful.

Looked like about 1500 people at the game. Dawgs have the worst home attendance by far in the SEC. Makes the whole conference look bad. I lost ESPNU for about two hours during this game. Did that happen to anyone else? The ESPN feed for ESPNU and also classic seems to be a problem for Cox cable. Has happened several times before.

I'm not sure that Georgia has them beat.

The question mark with Fox was always recruiting. He is a great coach, but it doesn't appear that he has the ability to recruit in the SEC.

Georgia really could be a sleeping giant with the talent that comes out of the Atlanta area, but Fox hasn't been able to tap into it.

Uga has the absolutely worst BBall vibe/fans of any school in the SEC, and it's been going on for a long long time. Truly pathetic, imo.

I would really, really prefer not to lose to those guys again this year. The annual loss at a crummy Georgia team gets annoying.
