In Saturday's practice apparently - looks like she will be out for the season, again.

Major bummer for her, but I think we still have decent post depth if not a lot of size outside of McIntyre.

Well, if theres any consolation both Svete and Needles have both come back strong after there ACL repairs. And Dimaite will still have 4 more years to play. Remember, McIntyre only has 2 years of eligibility left so Dimaite will be the center of the future. But it sucks as it would have been awesome to see both those bigs on the floor at the same time as Dimaite can also play the 4 and is a good 3 pt. shooter. And staff also were very pleased with her development to date.

Well, it now leaves only one true center....

It definitely hurts at center....watch some videos of the interviews they do on gatorzone.com and watch Dimaite in the background when she is shooting. She shoots exceptionally well for a Center. I hate it for her as well as for the team. If there is one silver lining it is that this helps balance out the numbers a little more. This seven member freshmen class is huge, but one already had to sit per transfer rules and now Dimaite can hopefully get a medical redshirt.
