GatorCountry App Glitch

So, I subscribed to a thread a while back and then unsubscribed. Despite unsubscribing, my App on my iPhone constantly sends me updates about that thread, even though nothing new is being posted. I tried subscribing again and unsubscribing, but it won't stop. It's super annoying, because it sends me probably twenty alerts a day. Any ideas how to stop it?
