Are we lookin for someone to be our wide receiver coach? Was just seeing the article about Jacquez Green on GC and I thought he may be a good option. It may help for recruiting purposes to have a former gator WR who is already coaching. Thoughts?

Where is he coaching? He probably needs to cut his teeth a bit before we would be interested.

They might keep Bush Hamdan Green is the WR coach at Lincoln high school in Tallahassee James Herns school. WR coach is a position that you typically put a great recruiter in so I can definitely see CWM hiring somebody else a ton of people would love to come to Florida and take that job.

I think he would be a good on the field coach but no way he would call 16 year olds kids all day like the job requires

Yeah but he'll throw one hell of a party.

I do hope we hire a Troop taylor like recruiter without all the allegations. Maybe CWM should call Meyer and ask who he would suggest since he hired Brain White & DJ Durkin two of our better recruiters.

I think the gatorcountry board should help him out . Maybe he will call Major and hire him as WR coach give him AHC title too. Get him away from that sinking ship in Texas that would be exciting.

Wes Chandler I think is coaching somewhere. He might be worth looking at, but this Hamden seems to be pretty good. WR's block well, and most have improved their hands.

If we don't keep Hamden I'd like to go after a UF alum, but AS or someone else said recruits really like Coach Hamden and with the improvement on the field I say he's justified staying on staff

While I think Hamdan is doing ok here...we really need to upgrade with a top notch WR coach and recruiter...someone with strong SouthEast ties

How did that work out for us with Hill? Didn't seem to matter too much. He was the secondary recruiter on some targets, but the biggest fish he pulled in two years was Taylor, who would have come to Florida no matter who recruited him. I actually think Durkin has been the best recruiter on Muschamp's staff so far and he has no regional ties.

Either keep Hamdan, or break open the bank vault and bring in Tee Martin.

I dont see some amazing improvement by the WR's they are what they are. A WR coach needs to be a lights out recruiter and this UF alum thing probably wont happen

Maybe Coach Young can make a call to one of his former teammates, the greatest WR of all time, Mr. Jerry Rice. It does not get any better than that.

He is the OC for my alma mater, Tallahassee Lincoln. He's helped get Reggie Davis, Taj Williams, and Raph Andrades major college scholly's. I think he stays in contact with coach Muschamp, and for all that mentioned Dixon...did Quezzie learn under Dixon?

He's at Cal now. Had a six or seven year stretch in the NFL. Looks like he's got the credentials. I'm sure we could offer him enough to come home.
I'm okay with the guy we have.

GREAT coach, great Alum, great family, great person great friend! I can talk to him on the phone but haven't seen DD for about 10 years now. He was one hell of a recruiter as well.
