Okay...
We got a ton of recruits showing up for the game yesterday...
We get a blowout win AT HOME IN THE SWAMP...

Have we any news from any of our visitors?
The Dawson kid... what about him?

That's great. Mean's we are the sh*t.

And honestly, I am not really concerned with how many early commits FSU has, we'll take whichever ones we want.

I am already thinking that we will flip JC Jackson to go along with D'Ernest Johnson. I am also thinking we'll snag Ware as one of our 3-4 LB's....

At this point, heh, I am hoping FSU gets more commits.... We seem to flip their recruits easier than we can recruit them ourselves.

Look at WHO they have played...
They barely beat Climpsen...
And NC State beat them...

Check out the other schools on their schedule.
Murray State
Savannah State
Wake Forest
South Florida
Boston College
Duke
Virginia Tech
and....
Maryland
Then... they play us at home.
Besides Virginia Tech and Miami (who is waaay down this year... who is gonna beat them?
(And who is gonna beat them up... even if they do win those games.

Next... who have WE played?
Texas AM
LSU
A decent...decent Tennessee team... at Neyland.
South Carolina
Next up is Georgia

Big difference!

Yeah it seems those two Immokalee boys really enjoyed there visit. J.C. sounds like he is just waiting to take a spot on the roster for next class.

We just don't have a lot of spots available. That's one of the "downsides" to filling 20 of your 26 slots before the season starts. You're not going to get a lot of huge recruiting nights along the line of the '05 FSU game.

And they barely beat South Florida to be honest with you, and if they played UF right now? I really don't know if their offense could even score on UF's defense.

That's right, I'm saying it now... after watching FSU struggle against very bad, unranked teams and then lose to one too? I am not impressed with FSU at all.

Sounds to me like we give away the most crap; free tee shirts, posters, embroidered towels, whatever. Not a great thing. Makes us sound tacky and over eager.

Why? They got some cool stuff to take home and show their family. Parents eat that stuff up like nobody's business.

What? You totally missed the point. Has nothing to do with giving away free merchandise.

LOL.. Swag is about the best recruiting tool a school can have, especially on the defensive side of the ball. And it's got nothing to do with free towels. And you can't buy it. Elam's got a shitton of it. And so does Purifoy and Easly.

RFN was a merchant of swag.

#1 WSDE in the country according to 247. #27 player overall. Coach Young is working him.

Time to retake the panhandle.

Well...Fox...
Always remember that they day WILL come when some young buck will come out with an expression that will not be in that 50-year old brain of yours...
And that same youth will want to make you look outdated, dumb... slow and simply out of touch with their time-space continuum.

At one time, I was driving a Moonlight Blue Mustang Shelby Cobra 508 CI... listening to Zepp, Skynyrd, Dire Straits and Pink Floyd.

Now... I am tooling around in a Dodge Caravan singing Bob Denver....
No... not really.

That would be awesome!!

We need a couple of great in-state LB options and Ware is looking like the guy to flip. Glad he got to come to that South Carolina game with another FSU commit in tow decked out in Gator gear (JC Jackson).

I was reading that D'Ernest's commit wasn't to Champ and that they didn't connect on the Sunday after... I think we have a good shot to take him, but just not right at this moment. He shouldn't feel bad or have a chip on his shoulder, Kain Daub tried to commit months ago and it seems the staff wasn't high on him for any number of reasons.

There's a lot out there and we have to be careful with letting a lot of guys commit early... we have momentum going our way, the only guys we should be taking this early for 2014 are GREAT prospects of positions of need. Ryeshene Bronson and Travonte Valentine are great examples.
