Wasn't he trying to talk to coaches about having an OV for the USC game? Did we turn him down b/c we don't want people with off the field issues (his are by far the least of the current big Auburn recruits, but being kicked out of the opening speaks of his character)?

No word lately, but I think we're still keeping an eye on him. FYI, a teammate of his in the 2014 class is one of the highest ranked DEs in the country and has already committed to f$u. That's reason enough to stay on top of Lawson.

I was really confused about the above post... I was thinking to myself, Carl Lawson has a underclassman that is better at DE than he is, even though he is #5 on the ESPN 150, and #2 at his position (DE)? that guy must be 1/2 Greek god!! Now that comment makes sense!

I did have those confused. Had no idea Carl Lawson was a possibility, though I remember him having some interest in UF before he committed to Auburn. Great prospect.

Not really. Anything is possible but if it isn't auburn, Tennessee likes their chances
