I had to attend a wedding. Had to leave the bar at halftime feeling sick. Right when I sat down at the wedding my phone started blowing up with good news. SO HAPPY for CWM and them Gator Boys. Recorded the game and watched the 2nd half this morning and that CROWD WAS SUPER LOUD! Go Gators no let down Saturday. Then bring on the COCKS for what will probably be a night game in the SWAMP with GAMEDAY there. Man I'm happy today. Oh ya didn't FSUCKS CHOKE again!!

I would imagine a lot of the remaining commits are holding onto to their choices right now, but there's no doubt The Swamp and the Gator victory over LSU made a huge impression on our visiting recruits.

Wondering about Tunsil and Denson after watching UGA and FSU underachieve (again). Any news on these guys or other OL prospects?

Supposedly 2 silent commits after game. On D side of ball.

For 2013? Only one I can think of is Marcell Harris.

It was probably Analazone and Harris. Neither one of them talked to reporters after the game Saturday.

I have a feeling it's Adams and Harris. Anzalone was specifically told by ND not to comment on his trip to Gainesville so I doubt he's one

Ira Denson was also feeling the Gators this past weekend... heard he is supposed to come back sometime before NSD.

Also, looking like we are emerging as a player for Montravius Adams. Would be really nice to pull him in with Sharif Floyd leaving. He'll be back for the BBQ in December, I think that says alot. All of our recruits will be there... if there was any one atmosphere for us to pull in Adams, it would be at that BBQ.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but the way we handled LSU has opened up some different avenues in recruiting that are a bit of a luxury. Hopefully it pays off.

Adams would be a major coup but not so surprising given the opportunity he sees at UF with Floyd and Hunter gone after this season.

That probably pushed Tunsil to Bama. Doesn't sound like we made up any ground with him. Denson's comments were pretty positive.

Ivie seems like an inside/outside guy so I don't think he'd be too concerned. With Brantley being our only true interior DL, he shouldn't be too worried either.

I think Brantley might want to play with Ira so he is flirting with FSU. I believe Brantley stays with Florida. And as much as I would enjoy sticking it to FSU by taking Ira if the coaches have higher players on the board they should work on those OL instead of taking Ira.

Who's higher. The only other o line I thought we were thinking about were T. Brown, Tunsil, and Rod Johnson. I think Denson is better than Johnson, and I don't think D. Dawson is gonna decommit from Michigan, so for inside linemen, Denson is as good of an option that we have

Brown Tunsil Johnson Dawson all higher on the board probably, and maybe some JUCO they wont talk about. It seems as though they are reluctant to take another inside guy if his name is not Dawson. Johnson can play two positions on the line so the coaches have him higher on the board I believe.

One thing you have to remember is we just have limited spots left as a whole. So they could like Ira (not sure how much they do) but like a player at another position more.

It's true, I don't think that offensive line is as critical as once was, since we got Moore. I am wondering if coaches aren't letting Brown commit just because they are waiting on Tunsil.

Are they still aiming for 24 total? If they are, I think it will be 1 more d line (Adams, Gilmore, Daniel, or Walker), 1 safety/CB (Harris or Ramsey/Wiggins), 1 o line, and Marquez North. If North isn't coming then they take Anzalone, or another D lineman.

That leaves room for a +1 just in case (25 total recruits) in case one of the studs really wants to come

I would not count out D. Robinson just yet. I think we hit the 25 mark just not sure who is going to leave the program to make the numbers work.

I think we will have 23-25 commits by mid December it should be a quiet NSD just the way I like it.

How much room would we have? McCray, Bostic, Evans, Hunter, Wilson, Nixon, Hammond, Hines, Gillislee, Sturgis. Those are the seniors off the top of my head, and if RoPo is trying to get his 2010 classmates to return for one more year, 2 or even 3 of Elam Easley and Floyd could return.

right now with the seniors leaving and the kids committed we are FULL for next year. So any added commit somebody has to leave the program through the NFL( Elam , Floyd) through transfer or kids just decide they are done with football or medical reasons.

Jacoby might transfer at the end of the season. Would any 2012 commits be transferring?

I could see that happening but I dont want to name names. But thinking about that say Elam Floyd Brissett maybe a freshmen and a few players that have been around for 4 years might just graduate instead of stay another year. We might be able to go to 26.

Oh like a RSJR who doesn't participate much on the field? Patchan has been plagued with injuries; I'm really wondering if he will decide to stop playing in order to keep his body healthier.

There are a few RSJR's that will have graduated and maybe could be told where their position on the team is not saying the coaches will have that discussion.

I think we'd take more than one lineman as long as one or more can play DT. Adams and Gilmore are both likely DTs and we'd probably take both. Not sure we have room for more than one more DE. I think we have a better chance of flipping Daniel than Walker.

We need to recruit like Bama...oversign and sort it out later so you can really see who is going to be productive. Stop worrying about the numbers so much

Well jeez, if we're ganna start being mean and doing that might as well start paying recruits to come a la cam newton, or start throwing yacht parties ;)

Or use EE to sort the numbers out.

And transferring, which I see a lot of happening. Some recruits didn't expect to no be using their speed, and passing so little.

But I believe muschamp knows who is leaving and I believe he knows how many people to sign.

I think two silents on defense would mean Harris is definitely in (which is awesome - I know they guy hasn't been talked up lately, but he's a stud). No clue who the other would be - don't think it's Anzalone, don't think it would be Adams (we were on the outside so long). So that leaves, who, Gilmore or DeMarcus Walker flipping from Bama? No matter the combination it would be a HUGE get for us.

It is that time of year - not fall, not Halloween, not the election but the good ole silent commitments. I don't think we have any. We have 5 spots open and we have about 12 4 and 5 star players we are after. WM is putting together another great class so I figure if we keep winning we may have more than we can take. I think in Feb. there is some major decisions to make by him. How can he limit it now? Why be a silent commitment?

The "Why be a silent commitment?" question is pretty easy. Lots of kids don't want to have to face pressure from their friends, extended family, or community to change their decision (say, if you were a blue-chip from Bama that decided you wanted to go to Tennessee). Maybe you think you won't get to take the Official Visits you have lined up if you go public. Maybe you still want to be wooed because you like attention. Maybe your mind is mostly made up but you don't want to be belittled on the internet by people like you and me who will trash you if you back out of a commitment. Maybe you're a liar. There are as many reasons as there are recruits.

I think certain spots are already limited. How many safeties do we have on the board after Marcell Harris (Shaq Wiggins?)? How many guys like Adams, Walker, or Tunsil would we take regardless of the quality or number of other recruits? These situations are the most likely to garner "silent" recruits.
