I think Greg Gilmore is a lot like Kevin Carter. He is a very well spoken defensive lineman, with great skills and a bright future... I hope we get him, he'd be a big plus for our team and I think exactly what Muschamp is looking for.

Good call on the Carter comparison. I feel like our performance today may have been enough for him to sway in Florida's direction

My assumption is by end of game today LSU did not look like the big boy team and big boy staff. All that's out the window now. When/if these recruits talk to Coach Muschamp now it's likely with a little more reverence and respect.

Respect is not a problem with Gilmore... Which is why Muschamp and a lot if us want him... But I get what you mean about other recruits. They definitely should respect what Muschamp is doing, and how he brings the best out of every recruit... And how he can make them better and hopefully get them to the NFL. Now if they disrespect him, he has every right to give them the old howdy doody and show them the door

Kevin Carter weighed 225 in high school. I believe Gilmore is a bit larger than that.

You are correct Strange, Gilmore is bigger at this point in his development than Carter.

I was talking more in terms of smarts, d line and ability than size. Guy is talented and will be going places
