Great News for the Women

Vicky McIntyre has been granted a waiver and is eligible to play this year. That is huge for this years team...no pun intended. Can't wait to see how she does this year. Few teams in the country have a 6'6 center.

Also great news as it will take pressure off of freshman center Viktorija Dimaite (6'4") and allow her to continue her development. Dimaite can also play the 4 and is an effective 3 point shooter for a post. Would like to see Dimaite, McIntyre and George on the court at same time occasionally. Lets see how the other teams try to match up there!!!

I didn't think it had a chance, and yes this is a big deal, we had very little size (especially with experience) for this year. All she has to be is serviceable and it's a massive help.

By the way, I am really rooting for Amanda, she has done things the right way on behalf of her alma mater and recruiting is starting to show that.
