Tony Farmer, out of Ohio, collapses to the floor during the sentencing phase of his trial for robbery, assault, kidnapping and intimidation of his former girlfriend. He continued to threaten her after his arrest, violating his no-contact order and this was the minimum sentence from what I understand, so not sure what he was expecting.

Here are the videos:

Surveillance tape (http://fox8.com/2012/08/22/i-team-surveillance-video-captured-violent-attack-by-farmer/)

He was expecting to get off free due to his status as a basketball star. Good for the judge for sending him away for a little while. In the sentencing video he looks at his attorney like he's arguing a foul with a ref. "I can't believe you called that on me!"

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

The messed up part was the girl was upset that he got jail.

I feel bad for him but he'll think twice before losing his cool. He's learning an important life lesson and so are all the other kids that watch this.

That is the standard reaction in these types of situations

You would think so, but I doubt it's true. He'll probably blame everyone from the girl to the court and police...everyone except himself.

He is going to best criminal school in the world.

I dont know the solution but building more prisons probably will not work in the end. Cut of his nuts, then I bet he thinks about it next time.
