I tuned into the Rays game tonight about 8:15. Longoria's first game back. Price on the mound vs KC. After a few minutes I noticed the score was 0-0 top of the 6th and said to myself, "Wow, _____________ game"

What adjective would you have used?

ELo has been back for awhile now. But i would say "tremendous" but only if my Rays pull it out!

Well, I was thinking of just that moment. 0-0 top of the 6th.

 Sort of my thought, which was "interesting" game. Made me want to stay tuned and see how it turned out, which I did. KC scored 1 in the top of the 10th and won.

I just wondered who else loves a pitching/defense duel.

This may or may not be off topic, but this post reminds me of a ML game I saw live in 1968. I was a SP on the Albany (Ga) Post 30 baseball team and traditionally they carried the team to Atlanta once a summer to see the Braves play. Our trip caught the Braves playing the St.Louis Cardinals and their SP for the night was Bob Gibson. That was his Cy Young year and he really proved his worth. He shut the Braves out and in the process struck Hank Aaron out three times. I remember watching Gibson pull his jacket off in the bullpen, stretch, throw 100 pitches warming up, put his jacket back on, and then go out and throw a 9 inning CG---"real game"...............
