Got this from Brad Pilon today and liked it.

Never eat before noon.

Never eat alone.

Don't binge eat too often.

Eat slowly.

Eat with moderation.

Avoid social situations or friends who constantly push you to eat in excess.

If you absolutely can't go a day with out eating, you've probably got a problem.

That's good stuff. As to not eating alone though, a recent study had people eating 35% more calories in the presence of another person and 74% more calories in the presence of three or more persons.

So, perhaps Pilon would differentiate between a convivial setting and the 'social settings' he cautions against.

Daaaaamn.. I don't think I can go a whole day, at least without being miserable

All in your head.

I have done a 3 day water only fast before with little problem at all (technically was 3 days 8 hours, but who was counting). Toughest times were in the morning without coffee, and at other "normal" eating times, which I feel were more habitual rather than a necessity of food.

I also do 24 fasts (dinner to dinner) on a much more frequent basis. Not miserable at all.

Regarding the title... NOT the college drinking rules I was thinking of.

Order some cheap food, like pizza.
Turn on some show.
Take a bite of food every time some particular event takes place in the show you are watching.

I.E.
Take a bite every time a bad word is said or beeped on South Park.
Eat a slice of pizza if the baseball doesn't get on the pitchers mound dirt between innings

Those arent drinking rules ATL, they are drinking game rules. Big difference.

I did my workshop today and, not surprisingly, some of the attendees were slack-jawed over my lax approach to diet composition.

That got me thinking that Brad Pilon is probably as close to being as lax as I am, on diet composition, as I am.

I agree on Brad. I actually find him to be a great follow when it comes to nutrition advice. He does a lot of research but most of his advice is really simple. And he has a good personality about it all while many in the fitness field do not.
