Justin Shaefer is a pitcher too?....... Wow, kid is talented by I'm hoping he can have at least two more great hitting seasons with the Gators, as an outfielder. I think he has a great swing, just wish he could develop a little more power. Seeing that he has a homer, maybe it's a start. :)

I am with you Gorn. I was very impressed with Shafer at the end of the year. I can see him having a big year for us next year.

Whitson has not pitched recently
Magliozzi 0-1 2.13 era 1 save, 12.2 ip, 19 k's 7bb

Shafer has raised his average to .292 2 hrs 9 rbis
Tobias .233 avg 1 hr 5 rbis
Turgeon .212 avg 3 hrs 9 rbis

I have been hearing a lot of positive buzz about Shaefer lately around cape cod (http://www.virtualcapecod.com/). I am going to start keeping an eye on him, and excited to follow his career.
