Anyone else have it yet? The passing game is improved immensely, but they still haven't figured out how to correctly implement a multiple front defense yet. Ron Powell plays DE in our 3-4 instead of OLB and is SLOOOWWW.

What's crazy is this is the second year in a row I've said, "Oh, that's out now?" I used to know the release date by heart and would go the first day to pick it up. I don't know if that is an indictment on the game or a change in my video gaming habits, or a little of both.

So far I'm fairly pleased but there are still some inherent problems, i.e. the top teams are grossly overrated as a whole and the CPU kind of cheats for them. I was playing a guy online with UF and he was playing as Bama, on 3rd and 10 I zero blitz and hit McCarron in the backfield with an unblocked LB. The guy never saw it coming and never moved. He proceeds to break that tackle and then 3 more from Floyd, Jelani, and Elam on his way to a 12 yard pickup and the first down. Yes, AJ McCarron. The next play he proceeds to get a 50-plus yard score on a screen that I sniffed out where Lacy broke another 5 tackles.

Ends up being a tight game and it was 14-7 and I got ball with less than 2 minutes left and drove all the way down to the 2. 2nd and goal I had a wide open receiver and Jacoby Brissett inexplicably airmails the ball to nobody. 3rd and goal I had a wide open TE in the end zone against their blitz and their DE jumps up (as soon as I press the pass button, with no reaction time) and bats the ball back behind the LOS, where their DT dives and snatches the ball right before it hits the ground for a pick, and game over.

For as much as they've done right this year, there are still some absolutely frustrating things that are still wrong with the game.

I still play the 2011 version, overall the best one they have put out. If you guys like the 2013 version better than 2011 just let me know.

Happily the new tuning data from friday is much kinder to the gators also.

My guess is you were trying to strip the ball?? It seems like in this years game if you attempt to strip the ball and dont the ball carrier will break the tackle about 7 outta 10 times. I have no problem with that seeing as it is somewhat realistic. I started a dynasty with FAU (the worst team in the game this year). The first game against MTSU I won 22-7 and then got BLOWN OUT by UGAly, it was bad. I like that because in past years you could use that money blitz and run four verts and not have any problems. I like the gameplay this year and I hope they continue to improve other aspects of the dynasty mode, there is so much more than could do with recruiting. Missing a few players also, Tylar Murphy and Hines are the two I remember as well as Bullard.

Also if anyone needs the rosters on PS3 use the PSN gamertag gamingtailgate, seems to be pretty accurate. On the same token if anyone knows of a roster that has Bullard actually on our roster that would be awsome.

Dont buy it, try to find it for free. I made the mistake of paying for the roster this year to get it from Gamerosters.com, then i downloaded one for free from a guy that does it every year and the only difference i have seen so far is Crowell is not on UGA in the one i bought. To find a free one just go to operatinsports.com and you can navigate your way to a forum that only talks about NCAA rosters, and they usually have some free ones up there

I believe the changed the touchback rules and slightly tweaked the stats. On day 0 the gators were B B- B+.

Now they're B+ B A-

There are a number of stability issues.

The patch for them is waiting on hardware vendor certs now.

EDIT: they've pretty well screwed any attempts I've made to play a dynasty. I've been playing heisman waiting for patches.

One thing that pissed me off... I was playing Vandy, Rodgers rolled out of the pocket and started to scramble to the right. I was in zone coverage, so my corner (or LB, can't remember) sat there and watched him go by. It was'nt until he passed the line of scrimmage that my guy finally reacted. And of course it was too late by then.

I understand why they do that. (looking to defend the pass until the qb passes the LOS) But Rodgers literally ran right by him, and there wasn't even a WR any where in the vicinity. I like the the game, overall, though. Just started an online dynasty.

I always set my QB contain to aggressive when playing against the cpu.

My biggest gripe so far is players will sometimes get glitches and move very slow, and sometimes freeze.

I can think of maybe 4-5 games total that the Gators have played in the rain in the past 8 years. However, you are correct, EA makes every GD game a rain game.

I played FIFA 12 and it was the same thing. Rain game after rain game. So annoying.

Anybody else running into super corners? Played FIU last night, and one of their corners was superman. Had two guys running verticals. Guy in the slot was open, but of course the cb flew over to him and picked me off at the last second. Ended up with 3 picks that game. I swear the cpu wanted them to win. Still won 45-20, but then my ps3 froze! Sigh...

And what's up with no huddle offenses? Seems like every team I play does it.

And now one of my online dynasty members is having problems playing his game. Keeps freezing on him. Restarted 3 times already. And I know he's not losing them, he's a very good player. Plus it's only on all American. Thanks, EA....you've managed to screw online dynasty up again. This is why I took it back early last year. Got sick of waiting for the patch. Overall, the game is great. If they could only get the online dynasty fixed up we'd be in business.

This is true and what is very aggravating to me is when they run the glitch plays and thats all they run it usually takes me until halftime to find something to stop it and then its on and i dominate the 2nd half

All the running backs seem to, I'm a few years into my dynasty and my longest run was 30 yards by Joyer.

Change the sliders. There's plenty of things that need changing, mostly DBs and linebackers dropping lobbed passes such as a lobbed slant or a lobbed in route when my db is playing hook zone. It's frustrating so I changed it. Also edi players to go they play, needless to say, the rankings in my dynasty always match the ones irl pretty accurately
