Very Nice!!

Surprised we took one this early. He must be really really good.

Now, just let Kain Daub commit and we have 2 very solid building blocks on each side of the ball.

Florida Recruiting is going to be very fun to watch as long as Muschamp is here.

Muschamp is really doing a very good job building for the future IMO. After the 2013 class is signed next February, Coach Chomp is going to have a very impressive depth chart of players and average-sized graduation classes that won't seriously hurt the team.

He's a good athlete, saw him at a 7 on 7 over the weekend.

“I called Coach Muschamp and told him I wanted to commit,” Bronson said. “I told him ‘Coach I want to commit’. He said, ‘are you serious’. I said ‘yes sir, I love it’. He said, ‘we are going to go hard and ball’.”

Bronson knows his attributes as a player are what set him apart and what made him so attractive to Florida.

“I am going to ball a lot because they haven’t had a tall receiver and I am going to break that,” he said.

Bronson says he is done camping this summer and offers this up for gator fans when he finally arruives on campus in 2014.

“They are going to witness greatness,” he said.

I get to watch this kid here in swfl, he is a good one, now if we could get JC Jackson from here in Immokalee to join him, we would have two solid receivers for the next class. Wow this recruiting thing is speeding up at a break neck speed. I don't even know all of this coming class by name yet. And the next class is already almost full! WOW

Evidence? To the contrary, we have a better change of signing him in Feb. of 2014 than if he had not committed to us this week. It's also an opportunity for him to begin recruiting for us.

FWIW, did any of you know that he is Sammy Watkins' cousin ?

Had to turn off the highlights halfway through. Nothing but hitch and smash routes and screens. Was he playing middle schoolers? Great body type, but that film showed me nothing.

Ya, I've only really seen a handful of his videos, but they mostly look like his Freshman/Sophmore years... Some of those highlights could possibly be from a JV game when he was a Frosh.

That said though, he does have the intangibles and an apparent blood-line for football. In 2014 he will more than likely emerge as a top 3 WR in the state. Also, kids who choose early undoubtedly get that much more attention and are usually listed early as a top 150.

6-3 and 180 as a Sophmore is nice. He may well be pushing 190-200 pounds by the time he gets to UF.

Do we have any idea on what his speed is?

Yes, fast

His long speed looked good but his acceleration and take off didn't look as good. Didn't see much explosion off the line.

Tasselhoff
06-17-2012, 08:43 AM
The good news is that o some extent explosion off the line can be taught and gained...now, I am not saying he will ever have a Harvin type first step, but he can get quicker.

Not concerned at all. UF is one of only a handful of schools that requires three years of foreign language. That would be the toughest class for a lot of kids. 2.8 at this point is very respectable.

Didn't see any actual numbers, but sounds like he killed it at the junior combine. I suspect his speed is legit and he will continue to climb through the camps season and then the actual football season.

Add Lane and let's call it a day.

his 40 time is not great but he is unreal quick off the line for his size. I highly doubt we get Lane but Josh Malone would be a great get.

247 lists Bronson with a 4.5 40, FWIW.

Why don't we have a chance with Lane? It's just the Florida schools and Bama. We've grabbed a few kids from Homestead in the past.

Didn't know Josh Malone was a possibility. He's a great looking prospect. We appear to be in Trevion Thompson's top three. Is there a chance with him? What about Artavis Scott as our slot guy?

We only need one or two more WRs for this class. I would hope we could be very picky from here on out.

Bronson ran a 4.7 at a combine which is fine.

I didnt say we dont have a chance with Lane I just doubt he picks he comes to Florida. He is probably going to choose on NSD we are not going to wait that long. He is a big Miami fan and Bama has recruited him for a long time.

Decent shot at Thompson he is good player but I was not nearly as impressed with his Junior film as I was with his sophomore film.

Dont think Scott is coming to Florida but Joker is trying

Malone is one of Zo's kids so Florida has a great shot.
Drake Harris will visit in March. Rudolph has some great film.

Fine if under circumstances or comparably better to the rest of the field, yeah?

I just dont care how fast his 40 time is. He is so quick off the line for his size and has plenty of speed. 40 times can also be misleading at times some of these kids have great form and some have terrible form which will impact their time. Watching his film you can tell he can get off the line and create separation. He would prob have been the 2nd best WR that we took in the 2013 class and not that far behind Drob.

210 mark
