Going Wireless

I'm thinking about getting a Kindle Fire and was told I'll need a wireless router to be able to connect to the Internet. Will I also have to change my modem? I have a DSL connection. Thanks.

Wireless routers will connect to your existing DSL ‘modem.’ The vast majority of the wireless routers also come with local Ethernet ports to serve wired connections. You probably already have your DSL being used by a computer so it would be nice to have that connected to one of the wired ports on your new router.

It should be easy and quick to add the router.

Get a Nook and you don't have to use wireless. You can connect with a USB connection
