Is upon us!

The greatest franchise on Xbox 360 IMO.

Mass Effect 2 and Skyrim are two very hard games to top, hopefully Mass Effect 3 will be just as good.

I haven't booted up a console since TOR came out, and I haven't booted up TOR in about 3 weeks.

This is going to sound petty, but I'm pretty disappointed that you can't holster your weapon. It actually annoys that crap out of me. I loved mass effect 2 on the ps3, but I don't think I'll be getting this one. Just not in the mood for it right now. I just finished uncharted 3..... Might try something different then the main stream stuff. Was thinking about getting the ico/shadow of the colossus remake. LOVED the first shadow of the colossus but never played Ico. Anyway, I'll stop before I hijack this thread.

Mass effect 3 demo was pretty damn good.

Man this game is crazy good, the multi-player is a lot of fun as well

This game has a lot of customization and a lot of single player that you can do. Im already about 9 hours in and still have a lot to do.

I'm guessing there's around 25-30 hours in single player gameplay

+1

Man there was a "boss fight" in this game that was pissing me off like crazy.

You died in one hit no matter what difficulty, i would mention what achievement it was but i don't want to post any spoilers.

I still love this game which is why i dropped $80 on the collectors edition plus another $30 on the collectors edition strategy guide.

That's too much money for a game, good lord. $59.99 is too much already! 'course I usually buy games used. Exceptions being GTA and games of that caliber. Since I usually play one game at a time, by the time I'm done with one game, my next game is already down to probably $34. (usually) some games stay high forever though! COD games and rockstar games, for example.

I will say this... never, NEVER, has a game made me emotionally attached to the characters like I am in ME3. I've played many games, and in the end they're just virtual characters that mean nothing. I've played Halo 1-3 and never gave a chit about anyone besides the Chief. I've played Half-Life, which is one of my favorite games ever, and didn't really care about anyone besides Gordon.

But, ME3, and 2 for that matter, made me feel like I really care about these characters. For instance, I think about deeper things when I play this game. In ME2 my Shep banged Miranda, so in ME3 I keep him faithful and he banged her again (lol) and I want Miranda to live. I would actually be very disappointed if she dies at some point, because in my ME world I want her and my Shep to live and be together, because I model my Shep after myself and make the decisions I'd make if I were in the situation, I don't play as bad or good, but play as what I'd do, and I'd want her to live and I'd want to live after it's all said and done. Same with Garrus, he's been there from the start and as a character I love him, he's an absolute badass and if he dies it would be very disappointing for me. There are a few big characters that died but the worst was (highlight the word next to the comma, as it's a spoiler) Thane, he was one of my favorite characters in ME2 and to see him die was actually sad. The first time I've played a game and was actually sad to see a character die. This game is amazing, absolutely amazing. I have to give it credit, it plays with your emotions and makes you root for these characters.

One of the best games I have ever played.

^^^ well said. Completely agree on the emotions of the game. That's part of what I loved about the game. That's actually a big part, to be honest. Sounds corny but it's true.

I had my character in ME2 a woman and imported her to Mass Effect 3 so i could make her lesbian.

She's doing the blue chick whos home planet is Thissa(sp?)

Greatest gaming franchise I've ever played. If anyone ever wants to play multiplayer on 360, let me know. I can find time most nights to play a few matches. GatorKyle.

Anyone else still disappointed in the endings? Pretty much no matter what you did over the last 3 games, you get 4 choices, and they all suck. I would have liked for them to include a happy ending that is achievable if you had done enough right over the last three games.
