I'm late to the iPad2 party but I got one for Christmas. Can I have some fun app recommendations? Any type. Thanks

Look at apple's list of top apps. That's a good starting point.

I use two things that are more business related.

1. Noteshelf - with this app, you can create notebooks where you keep notes written on the screen with a stylus. I use this all the time for work.

2. iannotatepdf - you can open a pdf and write on it with the stylus, then resave it with your notes. you can then email to someone else.

Tunedin radio app lets you access local radio stations. You can listen to any baseball games not on am850 buy tuning to Gainesville's 103.7. Very convenient.

Infinity Blade, TuneIn Radio (I've listened to several SEC games that weren't broadcast in my town), Plex (if you've got Plex installed on your PC/Mac- it's easily the best media center software out there), Pandora, iWork (I've used Pages and Numbers for several work projects- best if you've got a bluetooth keyboard), MobileRSS, How to Cook Everything, IM+ (very good multi-platform instant message app), the Weather Channel, Google Currents (kind of a free digital magazine compiler, I've got about a dozen publications/sites I read with this app).
If you have a corresponding subscription: Netflix, Hulu+, Facebook (the iPad app is well done). My bank has an outstanding app; I've been able to do everything I need to including deposit checks with my iPad/iPhone, most banks will at least provide account access for balance checks.

Thanks for the Noteshelf recommendation. I'm using it in place of the To Do organizer app I had previously. Like it much better.

Word(no pun intended) is that Microsoft will release a app for MS office for the IPAD sometime soon.

I just developed my first 2 iPad apps and released them in the app store last week. If any Gators want to help out another Gator and give me some 5-star ratings, I would really appreciate it! The app names are "Math Write" and "Book Magic", both educational iPad apps.
